Scope mounts are a type of mount that allows for the attachment of a telescope to a rifle. Scope mounts have come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but all share one common goal: to allow the user to see through their scope while using their rifle. The history of scope mounts can be traced back to 1876, when George Stephenson invented the first true scope mount. This mount allowed users to attach an objective lens with a viewing tube directly to their rifles barrel. The development of telescopic sights made it easier for shooters to take aim at targets beyond human range, which in turn created opportunities for more general use of firearms. In 1925, American Rifleman magazine featured an article called "The Use and Design Of Telescopic Sighting Devices" which outlined how widespread telescopic sights were becoming, and how they could be used by law enforcement officers as well as hunters. By 1930, most Americans had at least one telescopic sight on their rifles (although shotguns continued to be popular). In 1935, Winchester began marketing the Whitworth spotting scope as the world's first reflex sighted sniper rifle optic. The Whitworthscope was designed specifically for long-range shooting and its wide field-of-view made it ideal for hunting game such as deer or turkey from afar. By 1937, most manufacturers had produced telescopes that were compatible with scopes designed for bolt action rifles like the Winchester Model 70 and Remington 870 shotguns. These conversions also increased accuracy because shooters could now place rounds farther away from the muzzle without fear of hitting something vital nearby. One potential downside of these conversion optics was that they required modifications on both sides of the gun barrel - this gave rise to another name for these devices: Scope Mounts! After World War II ended in 1945, many United States military members returned home with new weapons and wishedto test them out prior To Own Them We Bought Them (TOBBY). As is often happens during wartime procurements there was much discussion about what should be done With Old technology we no longer had And so scopes went back into production.... The first Green River expansion mount was a horse feeder with an attached tree. A second feeder was added in 1865 and the tree was replaced in 1886. In 1907, the first motorized expansion mount was installed, which allowed for more efficient feeding of horses and other livestock. The mounts continued to be used until they were retired in the 1930s.

Green River is a town in Sheridan County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 1,521 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Sheridan County. The name "Green River" comes from the confluence of the Green and Niobrara rivers. The first permanent settlement in Green River was made on July 3, 1875 by James Ralston and his family near what is now its downtown core. For a time it served as the county seat but this distinction went to Sheridan in 1902. The town was platted on December 16, 1887 by Jno. Burt and others under the name of "New Meadow". It became an incorporated village on October 13, 1889. On February 2, 1912, it changed its name to "Sheridan". In 1924 there were two fires that destroyed most of the town center; one started in a grocery store and quickly spread to other buildings before being put out with water hoses (the only known fire-fighting incident in Sheridan history). The second fire caused more damage as it continued to rage through residential areas until finally coming to an end inside a power plant afterburning for over an hour and destroying several hundred items including telephones, medical supplies and automobiles parked along First Avenue. On June 9th 1997 it rained all afternoon long which created major flooding across much of central Sheridan County including much of Green River leaving neighborhoods very inundated for days afterwards

These mount were composed of two pieces that would fit together like a puzzle piece. The top part held the rifle's stock while the bottom part connected directly to a beam that acted as a support. The mount was originally designed for use with single shots but became more common in shotguns and lever-action rifles during the 1800s when guns became more powerful and versatile. Recoil reduction devices were first developed in the early 1900s as an attempt to reduce muzzle rise caused by recoil from firearms. Many different types of devices have been created over the years, but one of the most well-known is called a bipod. A bipod is an attachment device consisting of an Upper Receiver/Bipod assembly and Lower Receiver/Bipodassembly which can be attached either directly or indirectly to a rifle's barrel through four screwholes located around its circumference (Figure 1). This type of device helps reduce vertical recoil by keeping your rifle stable at all times while shooting (Figure 2). During World War II, scope mounts became increasingly important due to changing military doctrine which demanded better sighting systems for artillery shells being fired at long ranges. To meet these demands, scope manufacturers released new designs which featured improved optics and mounting systems such as dovetail rails that allowed users adjust turrets in order to get optimum fire rate across all distances (Figure 3). Green River rises in eastern Wyoming, near the confluence of the Green and Snake rivers. The river flows generally east for about 210 miles before turning south to enter Utah. The river empties into the Colorado River just upstream from downtown Denver.
