Green River is a town in Sheridan County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 6,049 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Laramie–Sweetwater Micropolitan Statistical Area. The name Green River may be derived from the Sioux word "grizzly" or "green," referring to the surrounding hills and valleys. The first Europeans to encounter the area were French fur traders in 1799. They named it La Flotte because of its similarity to HMS Victory when seen from above on a mapping expedition led by Pierre-Jacques de Montcalm. The name stuck and was used by both the United States government and ranchers until Cheyenne County was formed in 1907 when most of Sheridan County became Laramie County. In 1875, gold was discovered in what is now Green River; however, development did not start until after World War II when people began shipping goods upriver for processing into coins, jewelry, flour, oil shale and other minerals. By 1950, there were more than 1,000 businesses in town with an annual payroll of $50 million. In 1969-1970 construction started on the Sheridan Dam which would become one of America's largest hydroelectric power plants; however this project never came to fruition because of environmental protests and economic problems caused by water shortages that followed throughout much of North America during that decade. Today there are few if any businesses open late at night due to high crime rates and a lack of nightlife options outside of shopping centers or conventions center areas nearby; nevertheless many people still commute into town for work each day as services such as health care (two hospitals within 2 miles), education (four schools within 5 miles), banking (three banks within 10 miles) and social services (a library) are all located nearby with ample transportation options available should necessary occur outside town limits or while commuting inside hours).

The first ar15 rifles were built in 1988 by Heckler & Koch (H&K). These were followed up by Saiga 9mms in 1990-1991 as well as P226s in 1993-1994. After further consideration though, H&K decided on developing their own platform based off of the Garand rifle concept; this would eventually be named AR15 after Colt’s existing brand name for assault rifles at that time (AR10). This decision paid off as soon as production began on what would become known as the GameMaster armament series: these rifles featured Picatinny rails along both sides allowing users to add various accessories or optics depending on needs or preferences. Not only did this give users more flexibility when it came to adjustments/configuration but it also allowed manufacturers more control over how their guns looked overall - something that really set H&K apart from most competitors at that point! In 1997 however things started going downhill for H&K as federal investigators began looking into corruption within company ranks; during this time grenades were found hidden inside several ArmaLite firearms products exported abroad before finally coming home soaking one employee in particular (the infamous “Wooly Wool Fiasco” happened laterthat year). As a result of this scandal ArmaLite filed bankruptcy protection which led directly into government ownership and management throughout much of 1998-2001 while new owners searched desperatelyfor a solution...which ultimately proved fruitless! In2002 though things finally changed when President Clinton announced his planto open up America wide again through deregulation aka Shock Doctrine; during his tenure we saw enormous growth across all industries thanks largely to American ingenuity and industry leadership!
