For these three simple operations we demonstrated basic handgun accuracy in a very controlled setting! It was quite an experience having one of our daughters try to hit a moving BB with her fathers revolver at 100 yards!!! Needless to say she wasn't too happy when her score dropped by 5 points due to her inaccuracy...but it was interesting nonetheless
The Cheyenne Rifle Club was founded in 1892. It was the first rifle club in Wyoming and is still active today. The club has shot at a variety of targets including wars, deer, elk, ptarmigan, and even a few moose.
Cheyenne is a city in Sheridan County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 8,883 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Sheridan County. The name Cheyenne is derived from Cheyenne River and Arapaho were two of many tribes that rendezvoused there for trade in the early 1800s. The river was also used to transport goods and travelers overland through the area during this time period. In 1881, General John Chivington established Fort Laramie on the confluence of the Little Big Horn and Yellowstone Rivers in what is now Sheridan County as part of his military campaign against Sitting Bull and his Sioux Nation. The fort served as a base of operations for Indian Wars up until it was destroyed by Cavalry troops under Lieutenant Colonel Nelson Miles in 1885. Cheyenne became a city on December 12, 1907 when it amalgamated with other cities within Sheridan County including Centerville (1892), Powell (1907), North Platte (1911), Sheridan (1920), Kearney (1924), Waco (1945) and even farther away Unalaska (1959). Throughout its history, Cheyenne has been known for its horse culture which has helped contribute to its nickname "Cowtown". In 1886, Brigham Young University began offering courses leading to a degree called "Doctor of Horsemanship" which gave students access to horseshoes made from horses' hooves. These days, cowboys are still often seen wearing boots with heels three or four inches higher than those worn by most people; this style is typically called cowboy shoes or cowboy boots due to their similarity in design to these footwear items from years ago. Today's cheyennes wear blouses instead of short-sleeved shirts because high summer temperatures cause garment fabric to stretch too much during cooling down periods; this allows men more freedom while working outside without exposing their skin below their arms

Cheyenne is a city in Sheridan County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 8,837 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Sheridan County. The Cheyenne region was occupied by the Arapaho and Kiowa nations before European exploration began in 1868. The first white men to visit what is now Cheyenne were three prospectors named John Wesley Powell, George Bird Grinnell, and James Bridger on February 12, 1869. They camped on the Powder River near present-day Deer Lodge for two nights before continuing their journey upriver to White butte (present-day North Slope). On July 14 they reached Salt Lake City in Utah Territory and reported their findings back to Congress. On October 1, 1870 Ulysses S. Grant became the 15th president of the United States and announced his intention to create a new territory adjoining Oregon known as Indian Territory; this would include all of Wyoming except for part of Sheridan County that would becomeCheyenne. The Senate passed a resolution on October 3 calling for Grant's proclamation to be issued and on October 5 he did so with the announcement that "the lands lying within [Wyo.] east of Platte River are included therein". Grant issued a second proclamation on November 6 announcing that "all good settlers will be rewarded with certificates entitling them to receive $5 per acre" if they moved into the area now called Cheyenne Valley between Cherry Creek Mountains and Sweetwater Hills east of Fort Laramie; however no one moved in accordance with this promise because there was no market for land in this area during President Grant's lifetime. Some people who had hoped to get rich off of Grants' new territory became very angry when nothing came from it despite their offering money and land commissioners were created but little progress has been made since then. Some early entrepreneurs among these early settlers were General James Haggerty Sr., Major Custer’s adjutant general across Mexico artillery engagement at Washita Ridge; also western trader Wm Butterfield who operated outfitting expeditions into central Idaho during 1875-76.; also Nebraska man George Armstrong Custer’s friend Lt Col Andrew Jourdan who served as his aide de camp throughout most or all of 1876–77 including Battle Of Little Bighorn where Custer was killed.— Captain Elisha Richards (1838-) raised cattle near present day Fruitland Park outside town limits until 1861 when he enlisted as an Apache scout under Captains William McDonald enroute from Fort Ellsworth over Medicine Bow Mountains toward Arizona.— Pioneers John Fetterman & Isaac McCoy founded Cache National Monument west side US RR 10 about 1865
