By 1850 there were several other settlers living here including John Friesen, Nicholas Hofer, Gustavus Kapp and Johannes Bauerlein who all bought land from Jens Jensen around that time which they used for farming purposes only and did not build homes or establish towns until later on when more infrastructure was developed around them According to Village historian Tom Sayers-Hansen: “In 1851 Pierre-Edouard Desjardins visited this area and recommended that another township be formed” because he saw too much potential for development here given what he saw as “the natural advantages available” such as water availability and rolling hills for settlement . On February 7th1851 an act to form a new township (later called Superior) passed unanimously by aldermen voting 5-0 with two absentees – Samuel Freeman (Dane) from Dane County and Isham Miles (African American) from Racine – becoming founders . A committeewas created to organize everything needed for incorporation such as meeting halls , schoolhouse , post office etc In 1862 John Friesen donated land east of his original home which became WI State Road 14 ; but due to changes at state government level during that year some roads were rerouteed so routing became difficult This event led to many farmers having their property divided between them resulting in some farms being sold off Multiple times

Other companies such as NVIDIA also built products using Socket 3D technology – which helped them achieve increased overclocking potential when compared to CPUs that only used DDR2 memory natively). The growth of early pioneer settlement in this area led to an increase in industry in later years including lumbering, transportation (including shipbuilding), beef cattle farming and cheese production during the late 19th century through to World War II when paper making became important in postwar America. Today, downtown continues to be one of the central commercial districts within rural Northwestern Wisconsin while also serving as an important cultural center for local residents and visitors alike due to its rich history and diverse attractions.

The first Superior School was built in 1854. The school became the first high school in Wisconsin and the only one in the town of Superior. In 1924, it became the first public high school in Wisconsin. In 1945, it became a technical school and then a university preparatory school. On July 1, 1969, Superior School merged with Iron Mountain Technical College to form Iron Mountain University.
