In the early 1800s, when Wisconsin was first settled by Europeans, there were few optical products available. The only thing that could be seen and used for viewing was glass. However, because of the way light travels through surfaces, objects at different distances would look different if looked through a single window than if they were viewed from a distance. This required different types of lenses to be used to view things close up or distant objects in their entirety. One such invention was the corrective lens. A corrective lens corrected for the errors of incoming light and allowed people to see clearly even when looking away from a window or at a distance. Other technological advancements during this time included the development of photography and motion spectroscopy (which helped scientists understand how particles move in air). In 1892, Sun Prairie resident James Fenton developed an improved type of photographic film called "Fenton paper." This new technology allowed people to take pictures with very low noise levels and made it possible for photosynthesis research to be done in open air conditions! The 20th century saw many advances in optics including holography which is used today in digital photo printing; laser cutting; 3D printing; and other forms of additive manufacturing. However, one major advancement that continued throughout these centuries was the development of eyeglasses- something that everyone has been able to do without any problems since ancient times!

Sun Prairie, Wisconsin is a small town in the state of Wisconsin. The population was 1,823 at the 2010 census. Sun Prairie is located in the Ripon-Mequon School District. Sun Prairie has a rich history dating back to 1847 when it was founded as a farmstead by John and Mary Kappeler. The first post office in Sun Prairie was opened in 1849. In 1865, Sun Prairie became a township and in 1889 it became a city. The land for Sun Prairie was acquired by the United States government from the Lac La Hache Indian Reservation on July 3, 1847. The U.S. Army constructed Fort Snelling on the site of what is now Sun Prairie on November 10, 1847 after troops were able to drive out the Indians. On October 16, 1850, President James K Polk signed into law an act providing for military posts along what are now the states ofWisconsin and Minnesota – including Sun Prairie – and authorizing its erection as a military post with jurisdiction over all or part of those two states east of the Mississippi River. The fort served as an arsenal until 1862 when it was turned over to civilian control and used for agricultural purposes until 1870 when it reverted back to military control again under Commandant Amos Eaton who renamed it Fort Snelling (later Fort Atkinson). In 1865,Sun Prairie became part of Racine County When Racine County was created from parts of Milwaukee County on January 1st, 1890 there were three villages within its boundaries: Northfield (now Waukesha), Southfield (now Kenosha), and West Allis; thesevillages had been consolidated into one village by ordinance passed February 15th following their merger into Racine County On December 9th 1893 during his last State Of The Union Address Andrew Johnson requested Congress pass legislation creating "a new territory" comprising present day Dakota Territory west of Red River that would become known as Montana; this request was denied but later approved by Executive Order No 5558 dated November 22nd 1895 which designated lands lying northward along both banks of Missouri River included within present day Montana as Part Of Dakota Territory To Be Named For George Washington
