Gun magazines, also known as gun stores, shooting galleries or ranges, were a common occurrence in early America. The first such store was established in 1795 in Hennepin County, Minnesota. By 1825 there were more than 1,500gun magazines operating throughout the United States. Many of these stores were located near military barracks and other arsenals that offered firearms for sale to the public. Gun magazines played an important role in the development of American firearms culture and are still a common sight today.

There are numerous methods of loading cartridges into a firearm magazine including using a chambered round from one of several types of ammo belts that come in various widths and colors; using an early type of bolt action rifle that usesidel rounds held in place by flat surfaces on either side of the chamber before being fed into it through slots cut in the top; filling cartridge cases with powder, steel balls, wax paper or any other suitable material prior to firing them off; or using an aftermarket magazine made specifically for this purpose
Stoughton's first gun magazine was the "Milwaukee Sentinel" in 1872. The "Wisconsin Rapids Gazette" began publishing in 1875 and the "Daily News" reached Stoughton in 1879. The first shotgun magazine in the area was the "Weequahic Arsenal" founded by Dr. John Fenton in 1886.
Stoughton is a town in Rock County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,849 at the 2010 census. The unincorporated community of Stoughton is located in the town. The first settlement in what is now Stoughton was made on the east side of the Bad River by John and Abigail Leighton in 1836. In 1847, James Fenton opened a trading post near modern-day Stoughton. By 1857, there were three stores and 26 residents in the community. That year also saw the first purchase of land for farming within present-day Stoughton village limits by George Wirthman and his wife Mary Atherton Wirthman. The village began to take form as a small agricultural center with several stores and two schools before becoming an organized town on February 3, 1865 when it was approved by the state legislature. One of the earliest businesses established in what became Stoughton was a cheese factory operated by Charles Hickey from 1875 until its closure in 1903. A flour mill also operated briefly around this time but ceased operations because of competition from larger mills at that time. The last flour mill to operate in Stoughton was built on Main Street south of downtown between 1912 and 1916; it had been open since 1884 and produced $1 million worth of flour each year according to local historian Leroy Jethro Gibbs Jr.. The most famous resident of Stoughton during its early years may have been Alice Paul who lived on Main Street for many years after moving to America from Scotland at age nine following her parents' emigration (their meal ticket). After high school she worked as an artist's model before joining Seneca Falls women's organization which had ambitions to campaign for women's suffrage throughout America but failed due to lack funding however they remain iconic figures through history textbooks today expanding popular support for feminism even into rural areas like theirs with strong activism rates today especially online . To court potential customers,gun manufacturers began producing magazine-friendly handguns designed for easy loading and firing from pistols built before 1899 (e.g., Colt 1911 pistol). Stoughton is a town in the U.S. state of Wisconsin, at the confluence of the Kettle and Menominee Rivers. The population was 1,987 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the Milwaukee–Waukesha metropolitan area. The town was originally named for Edmund Stoughton, an early settler who platted what is now Stoughton in 1837. The first post office in Stoughton was established on July 5, 1836, by James Fenton. The first store in town was built on Main Street in 1839 by John Wightman and his brother-in-law Reuben Hirschberger. A school was organized in 1840 by Benjamin Shettle and taught by Miss Flinders Pettingill until it closed in 1845 because of financial difficulties brought on by currency depreciation during the Mexican American War (1846-48). The townsite that became Stoughton was Acquired from Dutch Run Township January 10, 1830 when it was ceded to that township under an understanding between the United States Government and its then Danish preserver Lars Christensen who had come to America as a boy with his father from Zealand some years earlier; he had married one Nancy Hendrickson whose parents were also natives of Denmark but had become Christians en route to this new land - she being about 12 years old at that time – and her guardian Mrs Weems & son James whoaccompanied them In 1835 USGS Surveyor George Wright surveyed all present within limits hereof including parts westward adjoining Dutch Run Township which sufficed for our present Town site so long only as no other claim or grant could be made thereto; accordingly we applied to Congress for a patent naming us “Stoughton” but without success until March 3rd following when they granted us one upon condition that we should erect a suitable public buildings within our limits never having done any such thing before By virtue of this grant we erected our first public building which stands still today just southwest corner of Main Street & Center Avenue – called “Old Meeting House” – Built mostly using local granite taken from quarries near where it now stands with assistance from subscription money raised through drives such as these Masonic meetings over many years
Stoughton was founded in 1847 by George Washington Stoughton and his wife, Sarah. The town originally consisted of just a few homes and a mill. In the early years, the town was only accessible by horse and wagon. By 1861, the town had grown to include a store, Post Office, two hotels, and four churches. In 1875, the first electric streetlight was installed in Stoughton. By 1912, when it became part of the city of Milwaukee, Stoughton had developed into one of the most prosperous towns in Wisconsin. However, due to World War I efforts to reduce manufacturing within Wisconsin (a trend that continued through much of the 20th century), Stoughton experienced significant economic decline during the 1920s and 1930s. During this time period, many residents moved away or lefttown for better opportunities elsewhere in Wisconsin or outside of America altogether.
