Shorewood, Wisconsin is a town located in the northwestern portion of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 14,568 at the 2010 census and is estimated to reach 17,000 by 2020. The area that now makes up Shorewood was first settled by Germans in 1841. At that time it was a small community on the east side of what is now Milwaukee Avenue. Over time, the town grew and developed into what it is today. One of the most predominant aspects of Shorewood’s history comes from its relationship with firearms. In fact, Shorewood has been home to a number of firearm-related businesses and institutions over the years. One such business that has had a significant impact on the town’s economy is John Moses Armory Company LLC (JMA). JMA was founded in 1907 by John Moses Ayres and his brother Harry Ayres as an armory and pistolsmithing business. The company became very successful over the years and products include rifles, shotguns, pistols, revolvers and other firearms products. Today JMA operates as an armory services corporation serving both retail customers as well as government agencies across America. Another important institution associated with firearm production in Shorewood is Waukesha Arsenal Corporation (WAC). WAC was established in 1912 as one of several arsenals operated by Singer Sewing Machine Company (SSM) during World War I to produce munitions for military use. After 1918 SSM merged with other companies to form Singer Corporation which continued producing munitions through various subsidiaries until 1957 when it purchased American Arms Corporation for $7 million making Singer

A recent study published in the Journal of Studies on Violence found that firearm hat owners were more likely to shoot and kill someone than those who did not own a hat. The study surveyed self-identified gun enthusiasts from across the United States, and found that those who owned firearms had significantly higher rates of homicide than those who did not own any weapons. In fact, according to the study, owning a firearm increased your risk by almost three times when it came to shooting someone dead – even if you didn't have any intentions of using it! There is no good answer to this question – must everyone wear a hat at all times? Is wearing aHat dangerous enough on its own? Or could there be other factors at play such as mental health or stability that we may not yet understand? We need more research into these questions before making decisions about how we want to handle our safety around these devices. But until then, it seems like keeping your head covered when out and about might just be best practice!
The Shorewood Rifle and Pistol Club was founded in 1876. The club’s first firearms were shotguns. The club started meeting at the old Masonic Lodge on Market Street. In 1912, the club moved to a new building on Wabash Avenue. In 1916, the club merged with the Racine Rifle and Pistol Club.

However, during World War II, shorewood began to prosper as it became an important military base for the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. The post-war years saw a resurgence in businesses with new residents moving intoshoretowns such as Shorewood and Waukesha to take advantage of their growing economies. Today, however, many businesses have moved out or closed within the past few decades due to changes in technology or other economic factors

Shorewood is a town in Barron County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 959 at the 2010 census. Shorewood was founded in 1852 by Solomon Wirth and his family. It is named after the bluff on which it stands. The first settler in Shorewood was Isaac Hennepin, who arrived in 1851 from Holland Township, Minnesota. In 1854, he married Sarah Lewis of Illinois and they moved to what is now northern Barron County. They raised two children there: Soloman and Sarah (1860-1935). One of their daughters, Lillie Hennepin (1863-1928), also became an American patriot and served as secretary of war for Wisconsin under Franklin D. Roosevelt during World War II. In 1856, Solomon Wirth came to shorewood from Otsego County, New York with his family and built a house on the bluff overlooking the then current town site. He soon added a millinery business to his operation and renamed it "Wirth & Company". The company prospered until 1860 when it went bankrupt due to overcapacity within the industry at that time. In 1865, Solomon's son-in-law Jacob Kapp erected a store on State Street in what is now northern Barron County; it became one of the most important businesses inshoretowns until its closure around 1930s due to competition from local stores started by Sam Gillett Sr., father of Sam Gillett Jr., who would later own the town's largest employer – Wabash Oil Corporation – until its closure in 1962 amidst protests from local residents over pollution control measures implemented by Kapp's successors. One of Shorewood’s most famous residents was bricklayer Joseph Jenssen (1854-1937), who built several homes here including one still standing on Fourth Street near today’s High School property where he lived with his wife Emilie Jenssen (1861-1945) until her death in 1925; they had five children together: three sons born before she died and one daughter born after her death but before she could marry him – making her one of only two women everto have held such high office within shorewood governance structures during that era!
