The River Falls Ammunition Company was founded in 1868 by a group of men from the town of River Falls, Wisconsin. The company manufactured ammunition for both rifles and shotguns. In 1903, the company merged with Winchester Repeating Arms Company, making it one of the largest gunmakers in America. During World War I, the company produced munitions for both sides of the war. After the war, the company became a firearms manufacturer again and produced various types of ammunition including black powder and smokeless powder rounds. The company closed its doors in 1957 but reopened in 1984 as an armory store. Today, River Falls Ammunition is a family-owned business that continues to produce ammunition products.

River Falls, Wisconsin is a small town in the far north-central part of the United States. The population was 1,320 at the 2010 census. River Falls is located on the Missouri River, just east of its junction with the Mississippi River. The first European to visit what is now River Falls was François de Vaulx in 1634. He and his brother named it after a falling waterfall they had seen near their home in Normandy. In 1836, prospectors discovered gold near present-day River Falls and began to claim land for themselves. The town was founded in 1840 when post office proprietor James Aiken opened a store here. Mines were developed here; by 1853, production had reached $2 million annually ($ as of 2019). By 1865, some 1,500 people lived inRiver Falls; by 1870, its population had soared to 3,000 due to increased trade with nearby Chicago and other cities along the river corridor%. During World War II (1939-1945), many factories were built here including Ford Motor Company’s Krotzville plant which produced tanks and armored cars; other factories built include American Cyanamid (now Bayer) Pharmaceuticals’s Madison plant which made Zyklon B: an early example of modern chemical warfare technology; and Westinghouse Electric's heavy water plant which manufactured plutonium for nuclear weapons development. In 1957, City Manager John Lorette convinced then Mayor Julius Erving to invest $1 million into beautification projects including new landscaping around town center and improvements to public transportation options such as a new light rail line that would connect downtown withriver falls proper. With help from local businesses like Albertson’s grocery store chain who donated large quantities of produce during harvest season—the largest donation ever made to any community in Wisconsin—the city also funds arts programs throughout the year through grants or contributions from corporations or individuals interested in showing off their wares at various art shows throughouttown square or at one of several farmers markets held every week during summertime.

Today we continue to enjoy a wide variety of ammunition options thanks to advancements in technology and innovation as well as advances in manufacturing processes both domestically and abroad!

In 1794 Napoleon Bonaparte ordered his army to attack Moscow using two batteries of six cannons each firing 1 million shots per minute (Wright). As a result of this bombardment, more than one million Russian soldiers were killed or wounded (Davenport). Ammunition played an important role in both World War I and World War II. During World War I, munitions made from TNT (tetrotypic acid) became available after Germany developed synthetic nitric acid during World War I. This led to new types of explosives being developed such as mustard gas which is responsible for millions of deaths during World War II (Flammgrenades; see also chemical warfare). Ammunition is used today primarily for military purposes but it has also been used in civilian capacities such as fireworks production.
The River Falls area was settled by the Potawatomi in the early 1800s. The first European to visit the area was Captain John Smith in 1763. In 1855, a group of Wisconsinites began building a hydroelectric dam on the falls, which would provide power for their town of River Falls. The company built the dam and created a reservoir that now supplies water to northeast Wisconsin. The town grew rapidly around the dam, and by 1915 it had reached its present size. River Falls is an attractive city with a rich history dating back to its founding as a post office in 1854. It has been home to government buildings and museums, as well as several large shopping malls and restaurants. The riverfront is also home to several parks, including one featuring natural surroundings and attractions such as hikes, kayaking, fishing, and swimming.
