The richfield rifle and pistol club was founded in 1882, by three brothers. They were the first shooters at Richfield Rifle and Pistol Club, which still exists today. The club has been around for over 125 years! In 1898, the club held its first target practice competition. At that time, target shooting was a new activity for many people in Richfield. TheRichfield Rifle and Pistol Club has also hosted numerous events such as annual championships and national meetups. The history of gun targets is fascinating because it goes back to when people used actual human bodies as targets. In 1802, Captain James Wilkinson built a windmill on the edge of town to test his new cannonballs. He set up an outdoor range to fire off his cannons at various distances from the mill tower. One account says that “500 or 600 men could be accommodated on one side of the mill” (Bennett). Captain Wilkinson was so impressed with how well his cannons performed that he decided to build a windmill with multiple targets inside it so that people could shoot them off in competition. In 1882, three brothers founded Richfield Rifle & Pistol Club after seeing how well their cannons were performing at Captain Wilkinson's windmill . This led to the development of modern target shooting techniques which we now use everyday!

Richfield is a town in Polk County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 5,717 at the 2010 census. It is the largest town in Polk County and the county seat of Polk. The name of the town comes from an Indian word meaning "the place where they found rich corn." The first settler in Richfield was John Kintzner who arrived in 1837. He named his land Kintzner Township after himself and his father-in-law, Jacob Kintzner. In 1853, Hiram Bicknell settled in Richfield and founded the firm of Bicknell & Bicknell which operated until 1907. In 1857, Julius Rosenwald moved to Richfield and began building a sawmill on the river near present day North Avenue. This business became known as Rosenwald Bros., Incorporated. In 1901, Harry Jelinek organized the village of Richfield into a townsite with a post office called Jelinekville and platted what is now north side of Main Street between East Green Street and White Flint Road (now State Highway 8). At that time there were only two houses in Jelinekville – one for Postmaster George Witte and one for Justice Antonia Keyes – both dating back to before 1800. On July 1st 1909 Richfield incorporated as a city under the name “Richfeld” but it never gained much popularity because it lacked any real infrastructure other than its own post office which opened on December 12th 1912 by Mayor James Fenton with local lumber merchants providing mail service between both cities until 1978 when US Postal Service merged them into one entity known as USPS/Richestield Post Office located just west of downtown on Park Place NW within walking distance of all businesses serving nearby neighborhoods including light rail access to campus). On January 1st 2020 City Council passed Resolution No #2 setting forth goals for future growth including increasing employment opportunities within city boundaries through annexation or other means; developing new public facilities such as approved plans for an amphitheater; investing significant resources into pedestrian corridors connecting downtown with south side neighborhoods; initiating development approvals for potential mixed use projects adjacent to existing businesses along Park Place NW; working collaboratively with neighboring cities across Wisconsin to create integrated transportation plans that would include streetcar service from downtown Richestield to University Station SE

In 1865, Captain John Fetterman designed the first successful rifle target which became known as “Fetterman”. Richfield is a city in the U.S. state of Wisconsin, and the county seat of Richfield County. The population was 47,564 at the 2010 census. It is located on the north-central border of Wisconsin with Illinois. The first Europeans to visit what is now Richfield were fur traders from Montreal in 1814. At that time, it was known as "Rhineland". In 1848, when Milwaukee was founded, Richfield became part of Milwaukee County. The first schools in Richfield were built in 1853–54. In 1868, when the first railroad reached Richfield, many farmers there began to provide transportation for goods between their farms and Milwaukee's shipyards and docks. This led to the town becoming an important center for shipping throughout central Wisconsin and into Illinois as well as being a major stop on railroads serving Dodge City and Chicago. During World War II, Richfield played an important role in providing housing for military personnel stationed in nearby Waukesha County while Waukesha County hosted large numbers of troops during both world wars (the largest number ever deployed within one county). The city also fielded its own military units during both wars through organizations such as United States Army Reserve Unit #3 (USARU3) which trained soldiers from local businesses who then served alongside active duty service members; United States Marine Corps Reserve Unit #2 (USMARU2), which conducted amphibious operations; United States Air Force Reserve Unit #5 (USAFRU5), which flew training missions over Wisconn Valley; and American Legion Post 141 (ALP141) which provided support services to local veterans groups]. After World War II ended, many people left or moved out of town because of competition from larger centers such as Milwaukee or Waukesha counties or because technological advances made life more difficult or expensive elsewhere. However, some people kept living in villages near town until they were displaced by suburban development beginning around 1960s across much of central Wisconsin including parts of downtown Green Bay A significant event occurred on October 22nd 1969 when a tornado touched down just outside the limits of what would later become downtownRichfield destroying all but two homes within a 10 block radius - one belonging to Mayor Jens Ludwig who survived unharmed A few years later another tornado destroyed much more property upriver near present day Racine after EF4 winds had weakened
Richfield was founded in 1847 by Nicholas Rich and his wife, Catherine. It was named for the rich land that they located on. The town originally consisted of just a few homes and a schoolhouse. However, over time, it grew to include a number of businesses and churches. In 1907, Richfield became the county seat of Dane County.
