BACKGROUND OF OPTICAL ACCESSORY HISTORY There are many types of optical accessories available today. Some examples include eyeglasses, sunglasses, contact lenses, and binoculars. Optical accessories have been used for centuries to improve vision. In the 1700s, people in Europe started wearing corrective lenses because their eyes were not adjusted to the bright sunlight outside. Today, most people use optical accessories for a variety of reasons including improved vision, protection from harmful light sources, and increased accuracy when looking at images or videos. In 1849, one of the first patents on an optical accessory was issued to Isaac Newton and his friend John Couchman. These inventors developed a system that allowed you to control how much light entered your eye through two small holes in the front of your glasses. This invention became known as “Newton’s Glasses” because it allowed someone with normal vision to see clearly by using only natural light while wearing glasses. After becoming popular in Great Britain and other countries, Newton’s Glasses were introduced into America in 1857 by John Fitch (the father of American banking). The Fitch Company manufactured these glasses until 1903 when they switched to plastic surgery sunglasses which continue to be produced today! The 1830s were a time when nature was still being used as the main source of illumination for humans and animals alike because there weren't any reliable artificial lights then! One early inventor who developed an artificial light source was Nicholas-Jacques Conte (1762-1848). He built a firework machine that could produce white light instead of darkness like traditional candles did! Conte's artificial light source had three parts: an electric sparker that burned wax; a lens that focused the flame onto one end; and a chimney that heated up the wax so it would start burning

Pleasant Prairie is a town in the central part of Wisconsin, United States. The population was 5,814 at the 2010 census. It is named after Pleasant Plains, Kansas. The town was first established in 1871 as a post office and general store on the east side of what is now State Highway 54. A school was built in 1881 and a garage opened in 1903. The town took its name from Pleasant Plains, Kansas. In 1955, a fire destroyed most of the original town center including most of the stores and several churches. rebuilt primarily with frame buildings and plazas in 1966-1968 with Federal aid The first settlers were farmers who came to farm near present day Pleasant Prairie in 1846. The first post office was established at Pleasant Prairie on December 8th that year by order of President James Kiefer US Army Captain John Pendergast USNR General Order No 6094-A which required all towns within 10 miles to have one post office. In 1871 when the railroad arrived through this area, many people decided to move into this new community because it had better soil quality than their previous settlements around hereabouts! After years of hard work by many residents over generations they were able to bring about large improvements to their community including: clubhouse (now known as the 'Pleasant Prairie Creamery'), cotton gin/seed storage building (now used as a library), two schools (the old high school replaced in 1957 by nearby Waukesha County High School - now Waukesha County Technical College), addition to commercial block west of Main Street between First Avenue and Second Avenue (renamed Euclid Avenue later), court house/ jail complex on acreage adjoining cemetery off Old Main Street also called Euclid Avenue - still today an important part of village life! All these improvements can be seen today just south of Court House Plaza & Old Main Street intersection off Hwy 54

In 1938, Dr. Sigmund Freud developed his theory of "sensation" which proposed that humans experience physical sensations due to emotional stimuli processed by our five senses—sight, touch, smell, sound and taste—rather than pure sight or hearing alone (Frazer). This theory helped change how society viewed mental illness and led to more open discussion about mental health in later years. One such example is Edward Munch's painting "Paint Your Wagon", which depicted individuals afflicted with syphilis walking around without protection from disease because at that time it was considered unsightly or indecent for people of any sex other than men (Munch). Many Of Munch's works were published during World War II due to censorship laws put into place by The Nazi government. In 1948, The Optical Society of America was formed as a professional body dedicated solely to promoting optics research within its member institutions worldwide (OSA website). That same year saw the introduction of color television with black & white signals being transmitted using white light instead of red & green waves like earlier televisions did (Chambers et al.). With color signals becoming increasingly common throughout most parts of the world over subsequent decades, various technologies have been developed specifically for displaying color information on displays using light wave Technology; one example being OLED displays which use organic light emitters rather than electronic lights (~30% cooler), making them efficient heaters (~1/3rd less power consumption) – perfect for displays near room temperature!

Pleasant Prairie is a small town in the U.S. state of Wisconsin that was founded in 1836. It is located on the east side of the Milwaukee River, about 15 miles (24 km) northeast of Milwaukee and 25 miles (40 km) south of Green Bay. Pleasant Prairie is part of the Racine metropolitan area. The first village in what would become Pleasant Prairie was called West Bend, although it did not exist until 1836 when a group of settlers named themselves Pleasant Prairie after a pleasant landscape they had seen while hunting near their current location. The name derives from "Pleasant Valley" which they had seen while traveling down the Fox River. In 1852, the town site was laid out by Wm. Leland Berry and others and it became an incorporated city in 1865 under its present name. The post office at Pleasant Prairie began serving residents on July 1, 1836, but little progress was made to develop the town until 1862 when John Haggerty purchased land within sight of the new post office and began developing it into an agricultural community with stores and homes for farmers and other pioneers who journeyed west during the 1840s era of Kansas- Nebraska-Iowa wagon train travel across America looking for lands to settle. The first store opened in1862 and by 1870 there were 10 businesses operating in what would become known as "Pleasant Prairie". By 1915 there were 100 businesses with a population of 3,000 people
