It wasn't until 1907 that construction began on the present day courthouse complex which contains four buildings: the Administration Building (now known as the courtroom), The Old Courthouse (now used as a museum), The Court Annex (which housed the jail before it was replaced by modern facilities) and The Law Library/Museum (formerly known as the Drucker Auditorium). Today, Mountpleasant remains an active community with many businesses and residents involved in local government activities including serving on village boards and city councils; playing golf or water Polo; attending church services; hosting birthday parties or potluck Dinners; attending museums or historical societies; or traveling for recreational purposes such as hiking or fishing!

The history of Mount Pleasant began with its founding as an agricultural village situated on high ground between Rosholt Creek and Menominee Lake. For many years this location served as a convenient site for trade because it had good access to transportation facilities including roadways which allowed goods to be transported easily from one place to another. During this time period there were no roads or railways in WI so trade remained important both domestically and internationally. In 1848 John C Fremont organized what would become known as the Pike Expedition which aimed to explore new routes through Wisconsin Territory for wagon trains carrying goods back home across America's Great Lakes region
Mount Pleasant is a town in the Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 7,853 at the 2010 census. The first settler in Mount Pleasant was Nicholas Biddle in 1852. It was organized as a town on December 1, 1860, and named for Capt. John Pike's plantation on the east side of the river. The first post office in Mount Pleasant was established in 1861. The towns of Sheboygan and Waukesha were also established in 1876 and 1877, respectively. On January 1, 1902, Mount Pleasant became a city under the name of Milwaukee.
