Laser sights are a type of sighting system used in firearms to aim projectiles by means of a light beam that is reflected from the target and directed at it. The beam is focused through a lens onto the barrel, where it is then intercepted by an eye piece or other sensor and converted into electrical signals that can be processed by a computer. In 1970, Soviet scientist Vadim Popov filed his own patent for what he called "laser ranging". This technology allowed users to track targets down to about 10 meters (30 feet). Although many variations of this technology were developed over time, laser rangefinding became standard equipment on most modern battlefield radars and satellites throughout the 1990s. By 2000*, almost all artillery units worldwide were equipped with some form of laser sight or ranging system[2]. Today nearly every militaries world-wide uses some form of laser sight or ranging system in order to maintain accurate fire while fighting various battlefield scenarios. There are numerous reasons why lasersights are so important: they provide pinpoint accuracy over distances up to 100 meters (330 feet), they are less likely than other types of sighting systems to cause collateral damage (such as Trashcan Man syndrome), they can be easily replaced if lost or stolen,[3], they offer increased speed when attempting ToC hold (the ability for commanders rapidly acquire targets within their unit's area during engagements),[4] and especially in infantry combat situations where accuracy is critical.[5] One reason lasersights have become increasingly popular among militaries is their simplicity compared to traditional Aimpoint optics systems used in rifle shooting competitions such as 3D boresighting/ alignment trials etc., which involve aligning several pieces including optics turret along bore axis with reference mark(usually metal block) conducted outdoors under bright day sky conditions; usually takes few minutes per shot & results in miss chance 50%. In 1889 an iron foundry was started up by Jens Erik Sjögren which continued production until 1986 when it closed down due to bankruptcy. In 1901 Mequon had 8 houses total with 4 Constructors' Houses being built just west of Main Street (now known as Pascagoula Boulevard). In 1907 there were 12 houses total with 6 Constructors' Houses being built just west of Main Street (now known as Pascagoula Boulevard). From 1911 through 1912 there were 10 houses total with 4 Constructors' Houses being built just west of Main Street (now known as Pascagoula Boulevard). In 1915-1916 there were 20 houses total with 8 Constructors' Houses being built just west of Main Street (now known as Pascagoula Boulevard). By 1918-1919 there were 30 houses total with 12Constructor's Housebeing buildjustwestofMainStreet(nowknownasPascagoulaBoulevard). During World War I there were over 100housestotalwith70constructorshousesbeingbuildjustwestofMainStreet(nowknownasPascagoulaBoulevard). After World War I many people left for various reasons including joblessness during the Great Depression while others moved into more affordable housing opportunities after World War II ended good jobs became available again which led to another wave migration starting around 1960 which continues today making Mequon one of the most highly populated towns inWI

Mequon, Wisconsin is a town in the Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 5,929 at the 2010 census. The name "Mequon" is from the Ojibwe word ("mikuniikan") meaning "upstream place." The first Europeans to visit what is now Mequon were French pioneers in 1821 and 1822. They named their discovery Point of Rocks after a rock outcrop they saw near where the town now stands. A post office was established at Mequon in 1827, and it continued to be served until it was discontinued in 1888. In 1847, John Hargrave opened the first store in present-day Mequon. He became known as the "Father of Mequon". In 1850, he built a grist mill on the eastern edge of town and named it Hargrave & Son Millinery Establishment. It later became part of Jenssen's Clothing Firm which controlled most clothing stores in Milwaukee County before becoming part of Sears Roebuck & Co., Inc. In 1932, Hargrave's son Julius opened his own grocery store at 6th and Mount Pleasant Streets called Julius' Grocery and Department Store (now Food Lion). The population of Mequon grew rapidly during World War II because many residents worked for government or military organizations such as the Navy or Air Force; some also worked for local businesses such as Mrnltys Mfg Co.; Big Nine Meatpacking plants; Waukesha Brewing Company; National Ballroom Supply Co.; First Nail Maxshop; American Welding Association (AJA); Allis Chalmers Manufacturing Co.; Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company; Emmaus Lutheran Church - Our Lady Of Lourdes Parish School District No 2 (EMLOCSD2) which operated from 1951-1987...Hargrave’s grocerystore Provided employment opportunities for many families who had no other way to support themselves during wartime... around 1945 there were about 50 people employed by Julius’ Grocery and Department Store who contributed $500 per month toward their subsistence! During postwar years there were several changes that took place withinMeqvon: 1) Many small familyowned businesses closed due to competition from larger corporate entities 2) There was an increase number of jobless veterans arriving in town looking for work 3) Businesses increased with new technology 4) Population size began to decrease due to outmigration

On November 3, 1849, the first Milwaukee County election was held. The population of Milwaukee County was only 1,471 residents. The first county government was created on December 15, 1851 by a vote of its citizens. On January 16, 1853, the first courthouse in Milwaukee County was built and opened.
