Menasha, Wisconsin is a small town in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 1,848 at the 2010 census. Menasha is located in the far northwestern corner of the state on both sides of the Mississippi River. It is bordered by La Crosse to the east, Kenosha to the north, and Racine to the west. The community was founded in 1853 as Menasha Township and incorporation took place in 1865. In 1952, Menasha became an incorporated city and it has remained that way since then. The name "Menasha" comes from a Dakota Sioux word meaning "place where we made our lodge." According to local legend, when Crazy Horse fought General George Armstrong Custer during the Lincoln-Custer War near Menasha's intersection with Racine Road on July 24, 1876, he ordered his people not to fire upon Custer but they did anyway and Crazy Horse was fatally wounded. This event is chronicled in Native American folklore as one of history's most tragic incidents involving Indian Americans and white humans alike. In 1905 Menasha became known as "the Florence of Northwestern Wisconsin," due to its large number of florists located there including Florentine Nursery Company founder Francesco Petrini and his wife Lucy Petrini (1857-1925). Moses Goudreau School opened its doors in 1916 as part of a larger effort by then-Mayor Cecil Bogan Sr.'s office aimed at developing educational opportunities for African Americans living within sight or sound of downtown Chicago through public schools only open to whites throughout Cook County (Chicago). Goudreau School closed its doors in 1984 following complaints about racial discrimination against black students by their white classmates who claimed that providing such segregated education would continue integrationist efforts by whites throughout all Chicago public Schools; however this claim has been debunked as exaggeration or fabrications over time by various historians including myself (Robert Aumann) who have looked into this issue head-on over many years while also working with City Councilmember Emanuel’s Office on race relations issues within Chicago’s inner city neighborhoods since Mayor Rahm Emanuel came into office two years ago….menashawomen@aolcom

In 1977, Laser Sight Corporation released its first product - a red dot sight known as the LASER ADJUSTABLE RED DOT DISCOUNTED SIGHT - making it possible for anyone to purchase a quality laser sight without any prior experience or expertise! This product quickly became one of the most popular laser sights on the market!

The factory closed in 2001 but it remains a popular tourist attraction.
