The Little Chute scopes company was founded in 1892 by O.W. Schiebel and J.H. Schaefer, both of whom were natives of the town of Chute, Wisconsin. The company remained family-owned and operated until 1978 when it was acquired by Leupold & Company.

Little Chute, Wisconsin is a small town in the heart of the Great Lakes region. The population was 5,752 at the 2010 census, making it one of the most populous towns in that area. The community is located just east of Green Bay on County Highway S-22, and its ZIP code is 53536. Little Chute’s history begins with two pioneer families: the Wilsons and the Heckschermans. They started out farming around 1855, and by 1870 they had built a cabin on their farmstead which they named “Chutes Knob.” In 1876, John F. Heckerman purchased land adjacent to his father-in-law’s farmstead for $5 per acre ($100 total). This purchase added about 1/4 mile (1 kilometer) to Little Chute’s current border with Green Bay. The first post office in Little Chute opened in 1879; it was renamed “Green Bay” in 1918 when it became part of Brown County. When Brown County was dissolved into Racine County in 1927, Little Chute remained within Racine until its annexation by Milwaukee in 1934. During World War II, many men from Little Chute served in various units throughout the Midwest theater including those who were stationed at Camp Randall near Chicago and Camp Kilpatrick near Minneapolis as well as Atchison Field General Hospital where they treated military personnel wounded during combat against Japan or Germany during World War II. In 1946, after years of discussion among local officials and residents alike, a decision was made to create a municipal water system separate from then-Racine County government which would eventually become Milwaukee–Milwaukee Water District (MMWD). The first water main arrived on site at what is now Park Slope Avenue just outside of town limits on July 3rd 1949; construction continued through 1951 with completion ceremony held on December 11th that year marking an event which also included inauguration of Mayor Harry Gardner as village president and First Selectman Bill Fitzgerald as treasurer for the newly formed municipality!

There are a few scopes that have come and gone in history, but the most well-known and popular scope is the telescope. The telescope was first invented by Johannes Kepler in the 1550s and it was used to look at objects in space. The telescope was also used to help astronomers learn about natural phenomena like stars and planets. In 1827, John Herschel created a large aperture telescope called the Great American Telescope and it was one of the first telescopes to be used for astronomical research. There were also other types of telescopes that were created over time, but the telescope is perhaps best known today because it helps people see things that they couldn’t before.

The first scopes were designed by Nicholas-Jacques Conte in 1795. The French scientist and astronomer Nicolas-Jacques Conte was the founder of modern optics. He developed a method for correcting images using lenses, which allowed for the observation of objects at a great distance.

Little Chute, Wisconsin is a small town located in the far northwest corner of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. The population was 1,868 at the 2010 census. It has been called "TheVillage" for centuries, and it remains one of the most rural towns in Milwaukee County. Little Chute's history started with the founding of the village by Methodists in 1854. The first post office was established in Little Chute on October 14, 1855. By 1880, there were only 12 residents living in Little Chute. The Village Improvement Society was formed in 1892 to help improve the appearance and well-being of Little Chute. In 1898, the Society also purchased land east of Main Street for a community park that still exists today. In 1912, voters passed a referendum approvinghood for Little Chute as a city; however, this decision was overturned by an administrative law ruling that cities could not be created without prior approval from the county board of supervisors. In 1916, after years of failed attempts to establish a city government in Little Chute, Mayor John Pritchett founded the City Planning Commission to try again. The commission's first action was to recommend annexation by neighboring West Allis into LittleChutescity limits; however this recommendation was vetoed by First Ward Alderman Harry Sager because he felt that annexing West Allis would give too much away to LittleChutes city status quoters who wanted more autonomy from Milwaukee County authorities. Alderman Sager's veto didn't faze him though - he continued his push for incorporation even when other officials said it would be difficult or impossible to achieve anything beyond just municipal governance without annexing West Allis (although he eventually agreed). On July 15th 1926 Alderman Sager successfully Introduced HR 269 which becameAct No 727 amending Wis Stats recognising City Of Littlestchute Incorporating Withdrawn From MilwaukeeCounty
