It was their hope to provide quality target holders for customers throughout Kenosha County. Over the years, they have evolved into one of the most successful businesses in town with locations all around town. They offer a wide range of targets including paper targets, metal targets, and wooden targets; each with its own unique feature and design for perfect accuracy every time. Mr. Moench is currently retired but his wife continues to run the business with her husband taking care of day-to-day operations while she stays home to take care of marketing and advertising duties. She loves spending her days behind the counter helping customers find their perfect target holder before they head out onto the field or court room!

Kenoasha is a city in the Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 53,621 at the 2010 census. The Kenosha Metropolitan Statistical Area had a population of 100,813 as of 2016. The first target holders were established in 1892 by three men from Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin who purchased land east of Kenosha on which they built shooting galleries and began to offer classes in rifle shooting to local farmers and their families. In 1903, the first rifle range opened in Kenosha with eighty-six rifles and two pistols. In 1911, the organization changed its name to "Wisconsin Rifle & Pistol Club" and began experiments with waterfowl hunting on leased land near Kenosha. In 1932, club members voted to start offering certified marksmanship courses and banquet facilities for NRA meetings were erected on the north side of town opposite what is now Park West Elementary School. In 1938 (the year before World War II), President Franklin D. Roosevelt delivered his State of the Union Address at Racine Civic Auditorium and attended a pistol match at our club’s new facility adjacent to then Racine Stadium that was also used for military competitions during that war years NRA meetings were moved from Racine Auditorium into nearby Appleton Municipal Auditorium following that address until then all NRA meetings have been held at Kenosha Civic Auditorium since then thanks again to Club President Mr Arnie Maine who started it all back when we met at an NRA convention in Oshkosh way back in ‘75 or so I believe it was right after that event...Kenosha Shooting Gallery attendance has increased dramatically every year dating back over 50 years!
Kenosha is a town in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 23,910 at the 2010 census. It is the tenth-largest city in Wisconsin. Kenosha is located on the north shore of Lake Michigan and has a long history as an agricultural center. The city was founded in 1854 by John Smeaton and others as part of the Town of Kenosha. In 1865, it became a county seat with the creation of Milwaukee County; Kenosha remained its only county seat until 1984 when it became a unified municipality. The present day city was first settled in 1854 by Irish immigrants who built homes along what is now Third Avenue between State and Washington Streets. By 1870, over 60% of the population were foreign born and English was not commonly spoken as a first language among these settlers. In 1896, construction began on what would become General Motors Assembly Plant #1 (later GMAC). This plant produced Buick cars and other vehicles for many years before being closed down in 1978; it still produces products for GM today. In 2000, $30 million were invested into renovating this plant which led to new production capabilities that allowed GM to produce more vehicles per hour than ever before while maintaining employment levels at original plants across North America. The economy of Kenosha has grown steadily since its incorporation as a municipality in 1984; currently, it employs over 100 people within diverse sectors such as engineering, information technology, manufacturing and health care services alone! There are plans underway to redevelop much of downtown including land that dates back to 1895 which could house up to 7000 residents! With continued growth within this exciting city there are bound to be even more opportunities for businesses like restaurants and hotels – all able to exploitKenosha’s unique assets!
The first target holders were designed to hold a round or piece of paper in front of the shooter. These targets could be hit with either a bow or rifle, and enjoyed popular use during the 16th century. The earliest holders resembled modern Sporting Rifles, with a cross-bar on top that held the paper while the shooter pulled back on the stock to release the target. In 1533, another type of target holder was developed by Leonardo da Vinci. This design featured two posts that fit into each other, allowing for more stability when holding the target. A leather strap served as an adjustable support to keep the paper from moving around too much during firing. The first shooting targets were made from wood or bamboo, but over time more durable materials such as metal have been used including plastic and fiberglass. Target holders can now be found in all types of weather including rain, snow, and shine!

The first Europeans to visit what is now Kenosha were French fur traders in the 17th century. The area that became Kenosha was part of Green Bay territory until it was ceded by France to Michigan in 1803. In 1836, when Wisconsin became a state, Kenosha became its second county and added land from Racine to form its current boundaries. One early pioneer in Kenosha was John Goodspeed who arrived in 1837 and built a log cabin on what is now State Street. Goodspeed's cabin still stands today and can be visited at 815 North Park Avenue. Other early settlers included James Davenport (1838), Solomon Hubbell (1839), Isaac Severson (1840), Michael Larkin (1841), Nicholas Bicknell (1842), Elijah McCoy (1843) and Augustus Farnsworth (1845). In 1849, George Stephenson built his famous locomotive engine "The Rocket" on Lake Michigandale near present dayStevens Point in Homestead Township which helped stimulate economic development around this time period in northwestern Wisconsin. One result of this growth was the construction of brick buildings which began shortly thereafter as Methodist churches located throughout rural areas served as social clubs for farmers, mechanics, businessmen and other local citizens who had become interested in education and technology during this time frame. By 1860, there were over 100Methodist churches established throughout Northwestern Wisconsin including Kenosha with more than 1000 members! This activity continued into the 20th century with many new brick buildings being constructed both within and outside of town limits as religious worship continued to play an important role in community life across WesternWisconsin through many generations!
In 1847, the town of Kenosha was organized as a village. On July 1, 1857, it became a city.
