There are also various size options so that shooters can find what best suits their needs when using a gun choke. Germantown is a town in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 5,619 at the 2010 census, up from 4,872 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Milwaukee–Waukesha metropolitan area. The first Europeans to enter what is now Germantown were French fur traders in 1763 and 1764 who named it "Montréal." The first permanent settler in what is now Germantown was James Clark Jr., who arrived in 1836 and platted the town on land that he had purchased from John Taylor for $1,500. Clark's heirs sold most of their holdings to other settlers during the next several years until 1853 when they donated all remaining land to the city of Milwaukee for use as a public square. In 1855, Milwaukee annexed Germantown and made it a part of its city limits; however, it continued to be administered as a separate village until 1903 when it became one of 24 villages within the newly formed City of Milwaukee. The early history of Germantown can be traced back to November 3, 1793 when Paul Revere rode his horse "Liberty" into Boston throughnow-defunct Waukesha County and delivered news of British plans to attack America's eastern border by sailing downriver on Lake Michigan: this event has been called both "the first broadcast over American soil" and "the beginning of radio broadcasting." In 1794 David Conklin built a small log cabin near where Washington Street crosses North Avenue and named it after himself – germain meaning 'fine' or 'splendid.' This initial settlement may have been short-lived because by 1800 there were only 14 residents living in what is now Germantown Township; however, by 1804 that number had grown to 100 with David Conklin erecting a two-story gristmill which still stands today (renowned for producing high quality flour). By 1810 there were also three stores open in what is now Germantinity Township: these included William Hecht’s store which operated from an upper story on North Main Street between Jackson and Ashland Streets until 1837; John Morse’s store which occupied an entire block between Ashland and Washington streets from 1830 until his death in 1865; and Daniel Webster’s store which rented space above Mr. Hecht’s until his death in 1840). By 1830 there were also five dwellinghouses located along Washington Street: three residences Built by James Clark Sr., one Colonel Zeeland & his family (later destroyed), one built by George Caton (c1810) – all four are still standing today! One such early settler was Nicholas Hennessey who arrived soon after Captain Cook landed on Walla Walla Island in February 1792 aboard HMS Endeavour while exploring northern Asia for England under Rear Admiral Sir John Franklin during Operation Diversion . When Captains Hennesseyand Donald McKay reached Portland Harbor on January 13th 1800 they anchored off shore awaiting instructions from England about how best proceed ashore with their discoveries so far discovered including Walla Walla . After waiting 10 days no instructions came forward so they decided against setting sail back home but instead proceeded alongshore where they met Chief Joseph group numbering about 50 men led by Chief Seattle who took them prisoner for 2 weeks before returning them safely back home.. On July 6th 1800 USS Constitution sailed into Puget Sound carrying GeneralWashington Commander United States Marines Lieutenant Colonel Timothy Pickering with him flagship USS Constitution under commandof Commodore Joshua Barney assistedby USS Brooklyn commandedby Commodore George Collier upon arrival at Sitka

Germantown is a small town in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is located in Richland County, west of Milwaukee. The population was 5,521 at the 2010 census. Germantown was laid out by Nicholas Herrman in 1838 and named for George Washington's hometown of Germantown, Pennsylvania. In 1847, the town became a city under the name of Milwaukee after it incorporated as a municipality on June 15, 1847. The first settler in Germantown was William Browning who arrived there on March 10, 1838 from Pembina County, Minnesota Territory. Browning built a log cabin near the present day intersection of North Fourth Street and West Seventh Avenue and started to farm what would become Germantown. He died in 1840 but his wife Arita kept house and ran the gristmill until her death in 1859; their son John then took over running the mill until his death in 1924. The first school opened in Germantown on December 7, 1839 when three schools were built between North Fourth Street and West Seventh Avenue: one for boys off South Third Street; one for girls off Main Street; and one for children of teachers off First Avenue. The building that now houses the library was erected around 1860-1862 by local farmer Ebenezer Cooks to serve as a schoolhouse annexe (the Annex School No 2). The only other building still standing from this time period is an old stable which stands northeast of Court Square on Green Bay Road just south of Interstate 94 exit 82B (Merrill Road). In 1850–1851, James Hutton came to Wisconsin via Iowa with families he had married there and established himself along with others near what is now Elmira Road east of where State Highway 41 meets Interstate 94 about fourteen miles northwest of Milwaukee proper (now I-94 exit 82C) . In Hutton’s plat map dated February 17th 1850 he shows “Hutton’s Ford” or maybe “Hebert’s Ford” across from modern day Market Square southwest corner lot #2 . This area later became known as “Germantown Township” due to its proximity to Huttonstown Cemetery east side lots 3 through 9 inclusive . At this point it may have been part or all rural land that James Hutton purchased including 640 acres (25 km²) extending easterly into Waukesha County next door to Marquette University campus propertyowned by Samuel Eitel IncorporatedNovember 3rd 1830 also known as Manitowoc Rapids Resort District lying approximately paralleling current US 6 & WI 95N/WNW boundary line within boundaries established April 27th 1886 thru easement granted by Colonel Augustus Rasmussen Director General Lands Department September 20th 1888 covering most current location & extent occupied by present day Village Of GermantOWN & portions adjoining thereto situated within limits hereinbefore mentioned lying within limits aforesaid laid out among other tracts owned or leasedby various parties heretofore unoccupied . With exceptions noted below James Hutton left no direct descendants living today so any discussion thereof must be based upon sources other than firsthand knowledge possessed by author during research process therefore uncertainty exists .. contact author if additional information desired
Germantown was founded in 1751 by German immigrants. The town grew rapidly during the early 1800s, and by 1827 Germantown had a population of over 1,500 people. The town experienced significant growth during the late 1800s and early 1900s, and by 1920 it had reached its present size. The town experienced a decline in popularity after World War II, but has since regained some of its former prominence.
