Franklin, Wisconsin is a city in the U.S. state of Wisconsin and the county seat of Dane County. The population was 767 at the 2010 census, making it the largest city in Dane County by population. It is also one of the most populous cities on the right bank of Lake Michigan, bordering Chicago to its south and Detroit to its north. The downtown area has been preserved as a major cultural and commercial center since 1871 when it was first settled as part of the Town of Franklin. The city annexed Racine in 1898, forming what is now Racine County. The first gun target shooting event in Franklin occurred on October 15th, 1871 when a group of six men from Milwaukee shot at an animal target out near where current day Elm Street meets Washington Street. This event helped introduce firearms to America and led to further rifle shootings throughout central Wisconsin during that early era which can still be seen today at various sites throughout town including Elm Park Reserve off Washington Street; Mount Pleasant Shooting Grounds located east of Capitol Square; State Fairgrounds off US 50 just outside downtown Franklin; private ranges located all around town; and even some buildings used for storage now such as Stiefel's Warehouse on Wabash Avenue across from City Hall (now known as Community Building). The first violation resulting from firing an firearm within city limits occurred on November 22nd, 1872 when two men were charged with discharge without intent to kill after they accidentally fired their pistols while playing poker at John Gessler's establishment on State Street next door to Pabst Brewery. On July 4th, 1886 four men were charged with discharging firearms within 500 feet of schoolhouse No 1 after they opened fire into the air following morning prayers there. As a result Of this infringement upon public peace & order more than 100 shots were fired into nothing but empty air over about three hours! It should be noted that these events took place inside City Limits so noone was injured or killed! In 1895 Mayor Amos Hinshaw established "The Riflemen" Club & Range Association which would later become The Franciscan Shrinegunnery Club Incorporated (FSCI) . In 1899 FSCI organized " Provincial Rifle Tournament" held at University Field in Milwaukee , Wis . Marquette University offered $2 per person for entered teams (plus prizes) with rifles donated by local businesses ! pistol matches were also held annually until 1906 !! While pistol pistols & revolvers offer more accuracy than other types of targets overall, they do not often come with adjustable sights like machineguns do- so depending on your skill level & firearm knowledge these guns may require some extra pre-shotting before being able to use them successfully on Gun Targets! 4) Air Guns/Shotguns/Pistols With Recoil Feedback Targets: recoil feedback Targets allow shooters who are new or inexperienced in firearms training to fire without detection until they finally achieve their desired aim -perfectly! These devices track how much force has been applied since last shot was fired using sensors inside & outside of target(s). As shooters get better at handling firearms (& targeting), they will eventually be able as proficient at finding their prey without assistance from recoil feedback Targets!
