In Franklin, Wisconsin, the first gun magazines were established in 1851. The first magazine to be published was the Millett Rifle and Pistol Magazine. It was started by John F. Millett and James M. Gentry and published three times a week. At that time, rifles only could be bought with one shot at a time so magazines were necessary for keep up with demand for new firearms. The Gunsmiths’ News & Journal continued publishing until 1861 when it became the Milwaukee Sentinel newspaper due to financial problems. In 1865, the Milwaukee Journal took over ownership of the paper from the Gunsmiths’ News & Journal which lasted until 1892 when it merged into the Chicago Tribune newspaper organization. From then on, gun magazines would merge into other newspapers throughout America before slowly disappearing in popularity starting around World War II until they were finally discontinued in 1984 after 50 years of publication!

In 1892, Franklin had a population of just over 1,000 and was part of the Town of West Allis. The first gun mag in town was the "Allis Rifle & Pistol Club" which held its first meeting on December 17th, 1892. The club rented a room from the local grocery store and began publishing its own magazine called "The Rifleman." In 1896, the club moved to a larger building at 527 N. State Street and began publishing "The Rifleman & Gunfighter." In 1912, they moved again to 628 N. State Street where they remained until their closure in 1951.
Franklin, Wisconsin is a small town in the town of Marinette County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 581 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Milwaukee–Waukesha–Racine Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first European to visit what is now Franklin was French explorer Pierre Marquette in 1673. The area that would later become Franklin became part of the Dutch colony of New Netherland in 1674 and was named for Count Floris van der Zee, who had negotiated its purchase from the Dutch by Spain in 1702. In 1836, when Michigan Territory was created from parts of Minnesota and Iowa, it included all present-day Wisconsin except for a small corner on the east side that reverted toIowa in 1848. When Illinois became a state in 1849, it included most of Michigan Territory as well as eastern Wisconsin including Franklin; this left only Marinette County within Indiana Territory when Michigan moved to become a state in 1850. On July 14, 1861, during the American Civil War (1861-1865), Ohioan General Ambrose Burnside attacked Fort Donelson near Nashville and failed to take it before withdrawing back into Tennessee; this led to Confederate General John Stoneman's march on Franklin two weeks later and capture of much military hardware including cannons which he then brought back to Chattanooga where he stored them until his forces were able to retake it three months later. In 1865 President Abraham Lincoln made an address at one point promising "to restore these rights [of white people] so long withheld" while also pledging "…to work with all carefulness towards their full realization." This declaration led eventually to Reconstruction after America's civil war ended which began with Reconstruction Acts passed by Congress ordering governors across states not to enforce black suffrage until they were northernized or removed entirely; this period also saw violence along racial lines culminating with widespread burning throughout Mississippi during Andrew Johnson's presidency due largely to white farmer complaints about freedmen stealing their land and crops; however following Johnson's firing ofAttorney General Robert McCulloch resulting in federal prosecutions against many leading whites who'd participated in suchArrayed violence throughout Mississippi], Reconstruction reached its end stages with Republicans gaining control over both houses of Congress as well as gubernatorial positions across America starting with Grover Cleveland taking office as presidentially appointed governor of New York City followed by service through Warren Harding before ending following World War II when government resources were redirected towards more important tasks like development assistance for post-war Europe rather than helping rebuild American infrastructure like roads and bridges). Today Franklin remains primarily rural but has seen some recent growth due mostly to incoming students from nearby Milwaukee University who are attracted by its agricultural opportunities while also hosting music festivals such as ignored jams each year held at various locations around town preceding Halloween weekend prior Cocktails & Jams night each year outside featuring local breweries) while still being home base for several annual farmers' markets located throughout town year round

Hearst Corporation also produced several TV shows related toguns such as "The Rifleman" (1966-1975) and "Gunsmoke" (1959-1968). In 1949, out of thanks to the support of Senator Harry Truman during the Korean War veteran's readjustment Act program, National Firearms Association purchased The Field & Stream Publication along with similar publications from Hearst Corporation for $1 million dollars cash infusion into their organization.[2] At this point in time Sturm Ruger had taken over production of rifle rounds for US military forces internationally while Colt continued producing handguns in parallel.[3] From 1950 until 1958 Sturm Ruger manufactured both rifles and pistols under license from Colt while Colt built manufacturing plants in Bridgeport CT(1950s), Omaha NE(1960s)and Riverside CA(1970s).[4][5] In 1957 Colt merged with Browning Arms Company[6], creating what is now known as Sturm Ruger Incorporated.(SUICIDE NOTE: On July 14th 2016 it was announced that not only did Sturm Ruger Incorporate Browning Arms Company but they will be merging their handgun division too! More information on this HERE). This merger created some challenges because both companies had developed separate revolver lines[7][8][9]. However; due to strong cooperation between these two companies,[10][11], much later Sturm Ruger handguns would largely reflect features pioneered by their rifle division[12]. With the arrival of mass shootings like Newtown Conniroscopic massacres happening across America,[13] it became apparent that gun magazines were necessary for shooters who wanted to know how best to protect themselves should they become involved in a shootout or active shooter situation. As more people started using assault weapons like these at home,[14][15] stores began stocking higher quality ammunition specifically designed for these types of weapons[16]), making it easier for consumers to find accurate ammo without having too much trouble finding storage space or getting help if they ever need it outside of normal business hours.
