Franklin, Wisconsin is home to the nation's first firearm manufacturer. The town was founded in 1836 by Alexander McNaught and his partner Nicholas Wiseman as a location for manufacturing cannonball shot and pistols. The company soon became known for its firearms, and it began selling them throughout the United States. In 1852, McNaught partnered with Nathaniel Weare to create the world's first mass-produced rifle. The rifles were designed to be easy to use and reliable, and they quickly became popular among frontier settlers. By 1860, McNaught had formed a partnership with John Browning, who helped expand the company into what would become one of America's largest gun manufacturers. In 1867, McNaught donated land in Franklin to build an elementary school that now serves as the town's namesake. Over time, other businesses have been established in Franklin such as a grocery store and a millinery shop. Today, Franklin is one of the most active communities in Wisconsin when it comes to promoting gun rights and Second Amendment rights.

Franklin, Wisconsin is a small town in the eastern part of the United States. The population was 5,829 at the 2000 census. It is located in the Kalamazoo-Waukesha-Rochester, MI Micropolitan Statistical Area. The first Europeans to visit Franklin were French traders and missionaries who came there in 1694. In 1836, it became part of Michigan Territory and was named for Benjamin Franklin, an American statesman and political theorist who served as both Vice President of the United States (1797-1804) and First Secretary of State (1785-1789). In 1848, after the Mexican–American War ended with Mexico ceding California to America and Texas becoming a Republic under General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, Franklin became one of several Texan towns that seceded from America. On July 4th of that year, they held a parade through town to celebrate their independence from America. The following year saw another parade celebrating Texas annexation into the United States as a state. After being annexed by Michigan in 1867 as part of its process of reuniting all the Northwest Territories with Canada due to their shared history as part of British North America (except for Quebec), Franklin reverted back to its original name on October 15th 1870 when it became a part of Wisconsin Territory which was created on November 3rd of that year by Congress after they merged all the Northwest Territories into one large country called Canada. 1st District: Milwaukee County 2nd District: Outagamie County 3rd District: Kewaunee County

The NRA had apparently begun using similar insignia back in 1887 when they created their Eagle Scout badge program. This early reference indicates that firearms t-shirt designs were sporadically appearing at this point - it wasn't until sometime after World War II when things began topick up more noticeably. Franklin, Wisconsin was founded in 1837 by Captain Franklin and his wife Judith. The town was named after Washington Irving’s hero, George Washington. The first post office in the town was established in 1846. The population of Franklin grew quickly to about 100 people after it was platted in 1837. In 1840, a sawmill and gristmill were built in the town, and soon there were several other businesses in Franklin. One of these businesses, the Ewing Mill Company, became one of the largest manufacturers of flour and meal in Wisconsin. In 1851, Franklin becoming a city when it incorporated as part of Milwaukee County. In 1915, Mayor John Wirth announced that the city would build a new stadium for the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team called Miller Park. The stadium would be located on land that had been used for grazing since beforeWisconsin’s creation as a state in 1848. When construction began on Miller Park, much attention was given to whether or not it could be done without damaging nearby homes and churches. However, due to financial difficulties caused by World War I and later prohibitionism within Wisconsin society, the Stadium project ultimately failed to completion despite many attempts by Mayor Wirth and City Administrator Harry Laughlin. This failure did not stop Mayor Wirth from continuing to try to bring development to Franklin even though he felt that its potential couldn’t be realized until more experienced professionals came into town. He also set out to make sure that all aspects of life within Franklin were positive – from its small-town atmosphere to its various cultural attractions like music festivals and art exhibitions). Despite these efforts however, little progress was made towards making Franklin an actual thriving community until 1978 when Mayor Richard Jorgensen took office with a mandate from then-Governor Tommy Thompson II to develop Frankincense Township which bordered on Franklin along Center Road near New Berlin Avenue (now North Seventh Street). This move finally brought some life back into what had once been an inactive community; although most residents still live within walking distance of their jobs at local companies or services like grocery stores or schools (although transportation is generally unavailable). The redevelopment process for Frankincense Township has included building over 1 million square feet of commercial space; creating over 120 housing units; adding 5 schools; renovating churches and other buildings between 1975-1998; installer walk ways connecting residents with job opportunities throughout northwest Milwaukee; installation of streetlights/streetcars downtown during off hours; addition fencing around neighborhoods bordering city limits catering specifically towards illegal dumping/illegal gaming activity; etc.; making available parking for up to 300 cars inside city limits garage while also providing affordable supportive housing units which are leased out through multiple private landlords across northwest Milwaukee
