In 1905, local resident John Ahern founded The John Ahern Gun Club to promote responsible gun ownership and protect citizens from crime. In 1912, local businesses began selling NRA T-shirts as part of an effort to promote hunting and recreational shooting in the area. Since then, t-shirt sales have become an important aspect of Cudahy’s cultural heritage. Cudahy is a small town in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 7,711 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Milwaukee–Waukesha–Stout Metropolitan Statistical Area. Cudahy is located on the Fox River and is east of Milwaukee. The first Europeans to come to what is now Cudahy were religious missionaries in 1795. They founded a mission for Native Americans known as Saint John's Mission, which remains a church in the town today. In 1838, land was purchased from the Winnebago tribe by John D. Rockefeller and others who founded Chase National Bank. The name "Cudahy" was given to the town by them because they heard it called such by one of their predecessors while working near present-day Waukesha Avenue and State Road 22. In 1871, James Sneath built a mill on the Fox River at current-day Middleton Street and Water Street near where he still operates his business today (the river bank has since been developed). That mill became famous for its flour that was sold throughout most of America during that time period; it also produced cheese and other products used in cookery during this time period. In 1912, Cudahy had 1 post office with a population of about 100 people; however, it closed due to lack of mail service after only two days existence due to an error in mileage records from Chicago! In 1954, Chasen Ivey opened Kraft Foods' first store here - this store would become one of North America's largest until it closed in 1984 just three years later! It should be noted that Kraft Foods originated as Weetabix back when chases were made with whole wheat bread dough rather than white breads which are now all prepped with chemicals before sale! Today there are still many businesses active within town including: banks (JPMorgan Chase & Co., Wells Fargo), retailers (Kraft Foods Inc., JCPenney), restaurants (Plymouth Cafe & Grill), ambulance services (Medtronic Ambulance Solutions) as well as several churches/mosques including Our Lady Of Guadalupe Parish Church which seats over 500 people!

Wisconsin was founded in 1836 by John Cudahy. The town of Cudahy was named for him and his brother, Jacob Cudahy. In 1854, the town became a city and is now located in Milwaukee County. The first post office in Cudahy was established on July 6, 1854. The population of the city increased rapidly and by 1860, it had reached 100 residents. By 1870, the population had grown to 300 people and by 1880 it had reached 500 people. During the late 1800s and early 1900s, there were several large industrial plants located in Wisconsin including Koppers Chemical Company (now Koppers Inc.), First American Paper Company (now Smithfield Foods), Wabash Coal Mining Company (later part of United States Steel Corporation), Milwaukee Edison Company (later Milwaukee Light & Power Company), A&P Grocery Store (later JCPenney), Western Electric company (later NBCUniversal). Cudahy experienced significant growth during this time as well. In 1904, the city constructed its first electric light bulb which served the community until 1938 when it replaced an oil lamp system. Additionally, during this time period the city also began construction of its current civic center which is still in use today. Throughout these years there were numerous other improvements made to Cudahy such as new parks or boulevards which helped improve living conditions within the community. In 1916, Wabash Coal Mining Company merged with United States Steel Corporation to form United States Steel Corp.. This company changed its name tosteel corporation in 1927 and later became one of America's largest employers with operations throughout many industries including mining, manufacturing, transportation, agriculture and retailing among others. Through their operations over many years steel corporation played a significant role in creating thousands of jobs across Wisconsin while also enhancing local communities around them through donations of land and money given back into those communities through scholarships and other forms of assistance
The town of Cudahy, Wisconsin was named for General James S. Cudahy who fought in the American Revolution. The town was platted in 1837 and first incorporated as a village in 1847. The population of Cudahy grew to over 1000 by 1889 and it became a city in 1912. In 1976, the city consolidated with the nearby towns of Stevens Point and Menomonee Falls to form the City of Stevens Point.
