Ashwaubenon is a small town in the town of Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 593 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Green Bay–Eau Claire Metropolitan Statistical Area. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of , all of it land. The village lies on the southern edge of Ashwaubenon Township, and its eastern border is Isabella County. As of the census of 2000, there were 476 people, 188 households, and 128 families residing in the village. The population density was 21/sq mi (8/km²). There were 280 housing units at an average density of 11/sq mi (4/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 98% White and 2% African American. Hispanic or Latinoof any race were 1% of the population.

Ashwaubenon is a town in the U.S. state of Wisconsin, located on the east side of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the population was 6,853. The name Ashwaubenon is derived from Ojibwe for "place where water flows." The first settler in what is nowAshwaubenon was John Butler in 1836. In 1868, A.J. Weyer bought land from Nicholas Haines and laid out a townsite with streets named afterBuffalo Bill Cody, General George Armstrong Custer, and other prominent United States figures who had died in battle or during peacetime pursuits such as fur trading or mining (Watershed). The town started off as a small farming community with three stores and around 100 residents. By 1870, when it became part of the new Town of Waukesha County, it had 10 farms with a total population of 350 people and six churches (the only one still standing today is Congregational). The most significant event that took place here occurred on November 12th 1870 when voters ratified a new constitution providing voting rights to Native Americans living within its borders. One reason why Ashwaubenon has been so thriving throughout its history is because it never experienced natural disasters like Mostdestructive Tornado which struck nearby Waukesha County on April 15th 1913 causing widespread damage including entire blocks destroyed by wind-driven rainstorms that week alone; nor did any major floods happen here like those that swept through neighboring villages like Racine & Milwaukee over several days in late May 1938 which caused more than $1 million worth of damage; these types events happened elsewhere much further away due to advances in technology and infrastructure at that time! In fact, there have only been two major fires within Ashwaubenon boundaries – one burning down an old sawmill complex back in 1902 and another torches an apple tree near Main Street just inside the town limits recently – both were quickly extinguished without causing any serious damage or loss to property either! Nevertheless, this resilience makes Ashwaubenon one of America's most resilient communities – something you can't find anywhere else!
Ashwaubenon was a small town in Wisconsin, located on the eastern side of the state. It is now an annexed community of Milwaukee. The first permanent settler in Ashwaubenon was Isaac DeWitt, who came to the area in 1847. In 1875, John Quesnel bought land at what is now Ashwaubenon and built a home there. The village had its first post office in 1879.
