Stunting Animals With High Voltages Until They Stopped Moving" describes how PGN1 worked: "The Taser electrodes are placed along either side or across top rear surfaceof animal's head whereupon high voltage is applied over time period desired by user." "Stunting People Immediately After They Made Contact With Its Electrode Pads" description how PGN1 works: "After contact has been made against one electrode pad within 10 milliseconds range (500 picoseconds), all subsequent pads will apply high voltage until stunned person stops moving."

In recent years, Appleton has made significant advances within its economy through initiatives such as corporate headquarters for Walgreens Boots Alliance and IKEA being built there; major renovations to Meineke Fieldhouse (home of the Milwaukee Bucks); and construction of several new businesses parks that have brought new life to downtown Appleton Square Mall.
