A total of six guns were used for target shooting during the Civil War; these guns included two cannons from Fort Donelson and two pistols taken from Mount Vernon.

Today's farmers continue to grow these types of crops as well as other local products including applesauce, cheese and honey; all while maintaining strong ties to their Austrian roots through cultural events such as Oktoberfest (a beer festival), harvest festivals and music festivals

On 12 October 1860 Prince Ferenc Liszt founded Magyarorszag (Hungarian Republic) with help from US president James Buchanan; Budapest remained the de facto capital until 9 November 1920 when it fell to Soviet Union forces during World War II. Kaiser Wilhelm II ordered the Bratislava-based Slovak National Uprising on 15 December 1918 against Czechoslovak rule in order overthrow Czechoslovakia’s provisional government; 25000 Slovaks dead as well as 5000 Czech soldiers were killed or wounded during three days of fighting that ended on 16 December 1918 with a ceasefire agreement between Czechoslovakia and Slovakia which restored mutual independence for both sides within weeks following negotiations held at Ruzynáslavský kraj (Ruzynye Krai), then part of Czechoslovakia proper but now Slovakia
When the first white people arrived in what is now Vienna, West Virginia over 100 years ago, they did not know of the area's rich history. The first European settlers in what is now Vienna were Lutherans who came to help build a new church on the banks of the Potomac River. From this church, they spread their faith and began missionary work throughout many parts of North America. The town of Vienna was founded by German immigrants in 1815. It quickly became a residential community and commercial center for those living near the riverbank. The town prospered because it had access to good transportation and goods from nearbyWashington D.C., Baltimore, and Philadelphia. In 1829, Vienna passed an ordinance that prohibited slavery within its borders. This law helped make Vienna one of the most free towns in America at that time. In 1859, Austria-Hungary joined World War I on October 29th, which caused much upheaval in Europe; however, Austria-Hungary refused to join Germany in war despite being allied with Germany due to political reasons. This led to Austrian nationalism becoming more prominent than ever before as Germans sought revenge against Austria-Hungary for refusing their Allies' request for war assistance during World War I while Austrian Jews were persecuted by Radicals and Nazis alike (who called themselves "Aryan" or "pure Nordic" people). On April 14th 1918 - exactly 100 years after the original white settlers arrived - Vienna city officials voted unanimously to change its name from "Vienna" to "West Virginia." During World War II - when Nazi Germany invaded Western Europe - Austria-Hungarian citizens took up arms against their Axis opponents; however, only a few hundred managed to make it back home alive. Many residents of Vienna fled into neighboring West Virginia during wartime while others hid inside castle walls or under bridges until Allied forces liberated them aftermath.
