The park originally consisted of just over two acres (0.8 km2) but has since grown into one of Pittsburgh’s most popular tourist destinations. It contains several attractions such as a botanical garden, an art museum, and a baseball diamond named after William Pittman Jr., one of the founding fathers of Pittsburgh
