The company has since released several iterations of its products including the LASERGUNNER III/IV series and the LASERCAM 2X riflescope. On October 15, 1998, President Bill Clinton attended a dedication ceremony for the Laser Sight Technology Corporation's new facility located in Greenbrier Valley near Wheeling, West Virginia. During that event, Mr. Clinton announced that he would be appointing Mr. Peter Chiarelli as his Special Advisor on Domestic Security issues within his Executive Office of White House Affairs. Laser Sight Technology Corporation is headquartered in Charleston with an additional manufacturing facility located in Reading Township, Pennsylvania. The company has production operations across six continents and employs more than 1,500 people worldwide.

As more property values increased along Broadwalk Ave., high-end storefronts were added to help differentiate downtown from much older areas near Interstate 81/US 27 between Elizabethtown Road and Market Street known as "The Ghetto". A revitalization campaign led by then-Mayor Joe Riley completed in 2007 removed almost all remaining billboards promoting luxury housing developments around Broadwalk Avenue while continuing construction on various other projects including restoration of historic buildings that had been damaged or destroyed during Katrina such as First Baptist Church (now convention hall) which reopened under new ownership in 2009; renovation of Jackson Park adjacent to Lowndes Coliseum where professional basketball games are now played; addition ofSeveral hundred parking spots near downtown for use by businesses;and completion in 2008of One Hundred Years: A History Of Downtown Charleston exposition featuring artifacts, photos and stories about downtown Charleston from 1800 - 2008
