In 1777, John Sevier founded what is now known as Bluefield as a small farming community following his visit to this area during the First British Invasion of America. He named his settlement for King George II because he thought he looked like him (although he was not actuallyBritish). The town quickly grew due to its location close to resources such as water power for mills and access to markets for goods imported from England. By 1827 Bluefield had become capital of West Virginia thanks to its location at the junction of two major roads which facilitated trade between regional centers in Ohio and Kentucky (West Virginia then formed part of Kentucky). During Revolutionary War era Bluefield played an important role supplying military forces stationed in nearby Monongalia County including those garrisoned at Fort Knox on what is now New York State's border with Kentucky (then Pennsylvania). As rebel forces advanced into central Appalachia they encountered strong resistance from Patriot militia led by General Israel Putnam who organized local militias under his command known as "Putnam's Rangers". This period is best known for putting an end to Valley Forge Battle which resulted in more than 50 casualties among British troops mainly due to skirmishes outside Blair Drummond’s Tavern which took place near present day Ellsworthsburg PA on February 15th 1778

They set up shop here and soon began growing rich from trading with other tribes along the way. However, things changed after a group of humans discovered one of their own members had turned into a dog due to radiation exposure from an exploding nuclear device during World War II! In order to protect their member from being contaminated forever, the Red Dogs gathered together and waged war against any human or dog who dared approaches him/her without permission from their leader himself! As it stands today, this still remains one of the most powerful unions in all OF Europe...or so they say!
