In Woodinville, Washington, the history of firearms and target shooting is long and rich. The town was founded in 1851 by George Ballou, a settler who took up land near present-day Tacoma. Ballou named his new community after himself, as part of a larger effort to promote agriculture in the area. By 1865, ballistics had convinced Ballou that rifles could be used to shoot targets at distances beyond what handguns could achieve. So he began purchasing land adjacent to his farmstead and started building rifle ranges there. The first rifle range opened its doors on July 1, 1866. That same year saw the opening of the Washburn Arsenal Ammunition plant, which became one of the largest ammunition producers in America. For many years, Washburn Ammunition was also home to the world’s first shotgun magazine production line. In 1886, Washburn Firearms built its own factory in Woodinville – marking the beginning of Woodinville’s long relationship with firearms manufacturing. Today, Woodinville is one of North America’s leading firearm communities – thanks in part to its rich history with target shooting and rifle range operations. The town has over 20 existing Rifle Ranges open for use by members of the public; as well as several pistol ranges open for training purposes only (e.g., “Landlocked Pistol Range”). Additionally, numerous Gun Sales take place throughout the year that feature additional firearms from local manufacturers and dealers alike!

You would need to be really close for it to hit reliably, and even then, you might only get about half or one-third of your shots within the Circle Of Death. Woodinville is a city in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 97,055 at the 2010 census. Woodinville is part of the Seattle metropolitan area. The first Europeans to visit what is now Woodinville were fur traders in the early 19th century who established trading posts along Puget Sound and the Snake River. In 1851, Congress passed an act designating the surrounding land as a reservation for Native Americans. The reservation was eventually dissolved in 1902 by order of President Theodore Roosevelt due to lack of use and development. In 1892, Wm. Hargrave developed a lumber mill on present-day First Hill Road which became one of the largest mills in Washington state and produced more than a million board feet (240 m2) of lumber each year from 1912 to 1916. The mill closed in 1916 but reopened as an agricultural center with hay production becoming dominant until it shuttered again in 1978 due to competition from larger mills around Tacoma and Seattle. During World War II, wood plank production increased because of military shipments to Pacific Northwest manufacturers for shipbuilding and other wartime needs; however, this production stopped after 1945 because of low demand for wood products after the war ended. In 1961, Woodinville was selected as site for Boeing's new $5 billion Terminal 4 manufacturing complex; however, this project did not result in any jobs or economic growth within town itself but created accompanying problems such as traffic congestion on nearby Interstate 5 and high school enrollment which has remained high since then despite efforts by Mayor Wally Oppenheimer to reduce class sizes among local schools In 1984, Microsoft opened its digital office park adjacent to Mill Creek Parkway near downtown; this led to job growth within town as developers built new housing developments near campus while services like plumbing and waste disposal grew into substantial businesses In 2000–2001 there was significant controversy over plans by developer Jim Simonsen for a shopping mall on First Hill Road that would have included inline skating rinks, water skiing ponds/ponds suitable for fishing (which would have been used by guests during events such as Seahawks games),and several hundred luxury condos including those owned by Governor Christine Gregoire After years of community opposition culminating with a rally attended by some 100 people on December 15th 2001 outside City Hall that prompted Mayor Oppenheimer's resignation effective January 1st 2002 following revelations about Simonsen's plans through leaked records his company had submittedto city planners - things changed whenOppenheimer appointed Mayor Mike McGinnis who worked closely with McGinnis' predecessor John Esperman - McGinnis successfully pushed back against Simonsens plan while also developing initiatives such as creating small business incubators within town limits The recent decline in industry employment has resulted in large numbers of residents working long hours at various Kendall Square businesses although many feel they are not getting fair value for their tax dollars given today's competitive marketplace

Woodinville was founded in 1853 by George Armstrong Custer and his wife, Ann. The town was named for General William Wood, who helped lead the U.S. Army to victory at the Battle of Buena Vista in 1867. The Custers were the first white settlers in what is now Washington County, and they started a sawmill and grist mill in the town. In 1865, they built a large home on what is now South Park Drive. They were influential figures in early Washington County history and their home has been preserved as a historical landmark. In addition to their home, Woodinville also had a school, post office, jail and other public buildings. After World War II, Woodinville experienced growth thanks to the arrival of new residents and businesses such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Corporation. Today, Woodinville is one of the most vibrant communities in NorthwestWashington County.
The first permanent settler in Woodinville was James Irvine, who moved to the area in 1814. The town was named for General James McLean Wood (1788-1866), a Union general and U.S. senator from Virginia who served as commander of the Union army during the Mexican-American War. In 1835, John Crouch founded a mill on the Willamette River at what is now known as 100th Street, just north of Washington Boulevard. A store and hotel were built in 1836, and by 1840, Woodinville had a population of about 200 people. The first school in town was built in 1839 on land donated by David Lane. In 1840, Wm. Cashier opened a grocery store on Third Avenue near Columbia Street. For several years after that, Woodinville was served only by streetcars from downtown Seattle. In 1861, when Washtenaw County was created, Woodinville became part of it and its first sheriff (John Hultgren) was appointed. In 1865-1866, county roads were constructed; these included Fourth Avenue south to Pioneer Hill Road (now Interstate 5) and Seventh Avenue east to South Park Drive (now State Route 191). By 1870, woodenvillians had developed around First Presbyterian Church on Eastgate Street; various stores and businesses had been erected along Fourth Avenue between Pioneer Hill Road and South Park Drive; and anattaqua Creek flowed through the town center surrounded by homes with gardens/ orchards inside them In 1875-1876 voters ratified an amendment to the Washington Constitution creating King's College Districts within Washtenaw County King's College began operation in 1880 as Eastern Washington University From 1886 until 1914 there were two mayors: Gouverneur Morris Beal (1891-1901)and Harry Sibley Woolridge(1906-1920). On June 11th 1916 Washtenaw County commissioners voted unanimously to annex Snohomish County into Michigan Territory pending ratification by Congress On February 15th 1917 Snohomish County commissioners voted unanimously to annex Washtenaw County into Michigan Territory pending ratification by Congress .
