In 1853, Captain John R. Brown established the first ammunition store in Sunnyside. Brown's store was located on what is now First Street and North Park Avenue. At that time, Sunnyside was a small town of about 120 residents. The store operated for about 10 years before it closed its doors in 1865. The beginning of the 20th century saw an increase in ammunition production in Sunnyside. In 1907, the American Armory Company was founded in Sunnyside by George Wickersham and James Biddle. American Armory produced high-quality ammunition for military use until World War II when aluminum versions of some cartridges became popular due to their lightweight and low recoil design. During the 1920s, advancements were made to Ammunition Manufacturing Standards which led to a decrease in production at American Armory Company as quality control improved with new technology. By 1930, Ammo Manufacturing Standards had changed again and American Armory company ceased operations altogether because they could not meet newly set standards anymore; this left Sunnyside with only rifle rounds and shotguns being produced today as ammo production has dwindled over the years

Sunnyside is a neighborhood in Seattle, Washington. It is located in the south-central section of the city and borders Pine Lake to the west, Ballard Avenue to the east, and Northgate Boulevard to the north. The population was 18,756 at the 2010 census. Sunnyside is home to many notable residents including Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and US senator Patty Murray. The name Sunnyside comes from two places—a small sun that could be seen from a distance on a hill in Sunnyside, as well as "sunny side" referring to how it looked from some homes on that side of town. Sunnyside began as an agricultural area with fruit orchards and cornfields stretching along what is now Ballard Avenue. In 1916 James Gorman developed Sunnyside Heights which became one of Seattle's most prestigious neighborhoods where families could live close to jobs and shops while having religious services available near their homes. In 1977 Microsoft's president Robert Gates bought his house at 404 N 50th Street for $5 million dollars which would become one of many properties owned by Gates throughout his career at Microsoft. Gates would later sell this property for over $100 million dollars making him one of Northwest's wealthiest men. As technology advanced, so too did Sunnyside with new businesses opening up including Apple Inc.'s first store in Seattle in 1976 and then Amazon Web Services' headquarters building opened in 1997 just down the street from where Today’s News Headquarters currently stands. One such business that continues its legacy today is Barnes & Noble which has been located here since 1984 when they moved into their current location at 741 First Ave S NW across from CenturyLink Field

To this day .22 LR rimfire rounds continue to be produced throughout the world in vast quantities due their low recoil and high lethality when fired at close range

Sunnyside is a small town in Washington County, Oregon, United States. The population was 554 at the 2010 census. Sunnyside was founded in 1876 by Brigham Young and his followers when they came to the area for farming purposes. It became a community after it was organized as a post office in 1880. Sunnyside's only stop on the Oregon Central Railroad was at its founding. Sunnyside has been called "the little village of the Willamette" because of its proximity to Portland and other cities. It has also been called "The Frenchtown of Oregon". Sunnyside's economy is based on agriculture, with some manufacturing activities also occurring here. The first settler in Sunnyside was Brigham Young, who arrived in 1876 from Nauvoo, Illinois. He named the settlement "Sunny Side." The name stuck and the town became an important center for Mormon pioneers moving west during the late 1800s and early 1900s. In 1906, Sunnyside had a population of 375; it peaked at 584 in 1910 but declined thereafter due to declines in agricultural production and population growth in neighboring towns. In 1990, Sunnyside voted to become an unincorporated community within Washington County following passage of a local referendum asking for such action by residents wishing to remain self-governing within their own locality despite having no formal governance structure outside of Washington County. The vote occurred two years before Washington County dissolved into Multnomah County effective January 1, 1993 under then-State Rep Raul Grijalva's bill (HJ 93). At its dissolution, Washington County consisted of 362 unincorporated communities statewide including Sunnyside which had remained unorganized since its inception as an unincorporated community within Washington County; however there are plans underway to re-establish or revive jurisdiction over Sunnisides' affairs should that occur absent any formal governing structure elsewhere within multnomah countywide authorities
