His design consisted of two leather straps holding an individual firearm behind their back while they Held onto two wooden posts with iron clamps on each end of the sling (similar to modern day selfie sticks). When fired, this system allowed shooters to hit targets up close without having any risk of hitting their own hand or arm – making it one of the earliest firearms systems designed specifically for use with handguns. The early 20th century saw dramatic growth for Spokane as World War I centered around the region; aircraft manufacturer Boeing built its first factory there in 1916; military personnel returned home from Europe after hostilities ended to find their homes bombed or burned; and construction began on an electric streetcar system that would eventually connect downtown with other communities throughout the region including Pullman, Yakima Valley, Northport, Moses Lake and finally Spokane itself via Interstate 90
