Seatac is a small town located in the Yakima Valley of Washington, about 25 miles north of Seattle. The population was 5,846 at the 2010 census. It is part of King County and is adjacent to the city of Seattle. Seatac has a history dating back to 1892 when it was founded as a station on the Pacific Coast Railroad. In 1911, Sitka Brewing Company became one of the first breweries in North America to produce beer with hop extracts. In 1922,Sitka Aircraft Manufacturing Company was founded, developing and manufacturing aircraft parts and components including missiles and other weapons systems during World War II. The company also manufactured furniture for use in Boeing airplanes. In 1968, Sitka Airlines merged with Northwest Airlines to form Alaska Airlines Incorporated (AAL). AAL continued operations as an independent carrier until 1991 when it merged with Shuttleworth Airways Holdings Incorporated (SHUTT) which had been formed from the merger of two smaller airlines- American Airlines and TWA- creating what would become Alaska Airlines Incorporated (AAL) again as an independent operator serving bothSeattleand Anchorage

Seatac is an unincorporated community in King County, Washington, United States. The community is located on the eastern edge of the Unorganized territory of Snohomish County. It had a population of 514 as of the 2000 census. Seatac was named for John Seattie, a early settler in this area. George W. Stephenson proposed the name "Snohomish" for a townsite in what is now Snohomish County in 1851; however, no action taken on the proposal. In 1892, Seatac residents Igor Svoboda and his wife Nadezhda founded what would become Eastern Washington University at Everett Campus; they donated land to EWU and also built their own school building which still stands today). In 1915, seatac post office opened with general mail service operated by the Puget Sound Telephone Company (PSTC). Service continued until 1963 when PSTC merged with Western Union to form American Telephone and Telegraph (AT&T). The community has been served by Seatac High School since its opening in 1955. The current high school building was completed in 1968 and seats 1,500 students across four campuses: Main Campus (), East Campus (), South Campus () and North Campus ().

Seatac, who served as commander of the Department of Indian Affairs in the area from 1889 to 1893. The name may also refer to Seatac Island, which is located within the CDP boundaries. Seatac first opened its doors to residents on December 12, 1892. At that time, it consisted of just a few hundred people living on an island in the Puget Sound River. By 1920, however, Sitcom had developed into one of the most important towns in both Washington and Oregon. In that year, it became part of the newly formed state of Washington and began receiving federal funding for development initiatives such as education and infrastructure improvements. In 1951, Sitcom received its own post office - seatacpostoffice@mail1.net - which continues to serve today. Throughout much of its history - dating back more than 100 years - Sitcom has been an agricultural community heavily dependent on agriculture production for income and subsistence. Today, though certain aspects continue to thrive due to their agricultural roots including cattle ranching/farming; wheat farming; potato cultivation; fruit orcharding; cheese making; wine production; water filtration/descaling services;and fiber manufacturing - many others have come about becauseof advances within technology or other economic opportunities that have arisen during this time period such as petroleum exploration or international trade developments (). Seatac Airport is a small airport located in the city of Seatac, Washington. The airport was opened on February 1, 1978 by then-Gov. Jay Inslee. It was declared a commercial facility on October 9, 1984.
