Seatac is a small town in King County, Washington. It is located on the eastern edge of the Olympic Peninsula. The population was 2,611 at the 2010 census. Seatac is home to Boeing's Everett facility and two large factories that make parts for Boeing airplanes and other commercial products. The first Europeans to visit what is now Seatac were Dutch fur traders in 1608 and 1609 who named it "Wapato" after their own village in present-day Manitoba, Canada. In 1935, Boeing began construction on its Everett plant which would be one of the largest employers in town. The plant would produce both passenger planes and military aircrafts such as the B-29 Superfortress bomber. The plant produced over 1,000 planes until its closure in 1991. Today, Boeing uses Seatac as a research center for new airplane designs as well as testing various materials for airplane building processes; however much of this activity takes place outside oftown limits due to FAA regulations about open airspace around airports serving large corporate entities like Boeing. There are also several small businesses located within walking distance of most residents including a grocery store and post office along with several restaurants and cafes including an Iranian restaurant that has been voted one of the best by locals for their cuisine

Seatac is a small town located in the state of Washington. The population was 1,829 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Wenatchee–Eldridge, WA Micropolitan Statistical Area. The first settlers in Seatac were farmers who moved to the area from British Columbia in 1876. The town was platted in 1907 and named for General George Armstrong Custer, an American general who died during the Mexican-American War. In 1917, Seatac became a city and was also home to the Seatac Air Force Base which housed USAF bombers during World War II. The base was closed in 1991 and it has been used as a storage depot ever since. Today, there are few businesses within walking distance of Seatac residents and most people rely on public transportation for getting around town. However, there are still some remnants of those days including a small shopping center and two public parks that remain popular with locals and tourists alike.

Dyer and his family built a log cabin on what is now the eastern edge of the town. The first post office was established in 1857, and the name of the town was changed to Seatac on January 3, 1859. The first railroad reached Seatac in November 1889 by way of Edmonds–Bellevue Railway Company between Seattle and Bellevue. In 1896, the Central Seattle Railway opened a line from Seattle to Seatac which served as an important artery for trade throughout King County. In 1907, Lane-McLaughlin Electric Railroad entered into joint marketing with Puget Sound Telephone Company for telephone service along their tracks running through downtown from Everett to SeaTac Airport; this allowed people living nearSEA to have phone service without having to leave their homes or switch companies. In 1916, Western Washington Power & Light Company became part of Puget Sound Telephone company when it merged with Western Electric company. In 1922 Western Washington Power & LightCompany closed its doors due to lack of business competition and merged with US Steel Corporation; this made both companies' electric systems one common system across all of King County includingSeattle metropolitan area (includingKing county). After many years as two separate companies operating under different names and platforms services were increased starting in early 1990s when Northwest Bell purchased both companies wholesale giving them that same platform name Northwest Bell also provides customer service over phone/ internet only today they are known as NorthwestTel
