Lacey's company ultimately went defunct in 1978 but its legacy lives on through his son Harry Jr.'s company H&H Knives Inc., which still makes high-quality hunting knives today (the first H&H store opened up in Seattle).

Situated on the north shore of Lake Washington, Seatac is the largest incorporated community in King County by area. The name "Seatac" first appeared on a map dated 1851 and was used for an agricultural center near Seattle. The name "Seatac" was derived from the Yakima word satkatch (a type of seed), which means "place where wild rice grows." In 1905, the town of Seatac was established as a village within King County by order of Governor James K. Hill. In 1907, when Snohomish County became part of King County, Seatac became one of its initial villages. As early as 1924, local farmers were growing hops at what is now known as Hop Station Road and shipping them to Seattle to be sold by brewers such as Anheuser Busch and Safeway. In 1935, the Washington State Railroad Company built tracks through town and began serving it with steam locomotives; today's Amtrak station is located in neighboring Everett. On November 5th 1959 voters passed a referendum approvinghood for Seatac Village; however due to legal challenges it didn't take effect until January 1st 1960 under then-King County Executive David Owen's administration. On January 1st 1960 residents voted to incorporate into King County as an unincorporated community with its own government structures and laws separate from those in Snohomish or Seattle
