In 1886, when George Clausen arrived in town from Seattle, he purchased Sutherlin's business and renamed it Clausen's Shooting Place. In 1902-1903, Clausen partnered with Jens Hansen to form Hansen & Clausen Sporting Goods Company which producedTarget Holders until 1954 when they merged with United Gun Makers Company (UGMC) to become Huntley & Frye Corporation (H&F). With H&F ownership came improved production quality control and marketing abilities that allowed Huntley & Frye Corporation to become one of Washington's leading manufacturers of shooting targets throughout the 1930s-1950s; their products were even exported to Canada during this time period! In 1951-1952 H&F decided against expanding into new markets due to economic constraints; however their legacy of excellence continues today as one of Washington's most successful firearms manufacturers! Accordingly, Huntley & Frye Corporation ceased production ofTarget Holders effective October 1st 1952 “to concentrate our efforts upon other lines”(Huntley 1942). This abrupt change left many people scrambling for alternative methods for purchasingTarget Holders; some resorted to buying pre-made models while others constructed their own custom stands out of lumber or aluminum tubing.(Moses 1994) Indeed, over 50 years after its creation,,the historyofTarget holder manufacturing survives primarily as a memorabilia item enjoyed by enthusiasts who love spending time outdoors shooting pistolsand rifles at 100 yards or more!

Sammamish (Sammamish River) is a small town in King County, Washington. The population was 1,532 at the 2010 census. It is located on the east side of the Sammamish River and east of Seattle. The first Europeans to visit what is now Sammamish were fur traders from Russia in 1824. They named the river after their leader, Simcoe, who had been killed in a hunt near present-day Tacoma. In 1851, wheat farmers built a sawmill on the banks of the Sammamish River. The mill processed logs until 1915 when it closed due to competition from more modern mills. In 1951, an agreement was made between Boeing and Lockheed Aircraft Company to produce airplanes at nearby Grumman Field; this led to increased development around the mill and village proper. Today, there are several businesses that offer services such as car wash or restaurant deliveries within walking distance of each other; however most residents still rely heavily on agriculture for their income. The Sammamish Agricultural Museum houses artifacts related to agriculture including old tractors and irrigation systems from various times periods.

Sammamish is a town in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 2,735 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Seattle metropolitan area. The first permanent settler in what is now Sammamish was John Goodloe in 1851. Goodloe and his family were among the early settlers who came to this region from England via the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The Goodloe farmstead still stands today on what is now Springwater Road south of Interstate 5. In 1872, Alexander Graham Bell founded a telephone company here and started ringing up local residents for service. George Marcus built a sawmill onSAMMAMISH CREEK in 1898 which became an important commercial center for the community until it was destroyed by fire in 2009. A post office called Sammamish was established in 1876, and remained operational until 1907. In 1916, Samuel Goldsmith opened what is now Sammamish’s only store as an open-air market with produce from his farm down Springwater Road northwest of I-5; he continued to operate it until 1978 when it closed due to competition from Safeway Inc.. In 1924, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen moved to Seattle with his wife Alice Goldsmith after acquiring land adjacent to their old house on Puget Sound where they built their first office complex – Silver Lake Drive – which remains one of Seattle’s most popular tourist attractions today. In 1951,Microsoft merged with AIB Corporation (later Thomson Reuters) forming Microsoft Corp., which continues to be headquartered here today. Sammamish experienced its first growth as a result of World War II when many thousands of military personnel stationed here were brought into the city during wartime production needs such as aircraft manufacturing and shipbuilding; later on however, many jobs left Sammamish as technology advanced and traditional industries like agriculture boomed elsewhere following World War II due to new found technologies like plastics and nylon that weren’t yet developed or affordable here at home. After the war ended many people returned home but over time there has been little significant population growth since then other than some small businesses popping up around downtown that have survived through various economic cycles over time including two major fires that destroyed much of downtown between 1985-1987; both fires were attributed directly back to arson attempts against these businesses by disgruntled former employees who felt they hadn’t been given fair treatment following layoffs or changes within Microsoft Credit Union headquarters just blocks away across First Avenue from their old workplace (the credit union building collapsed shortly afterwards under mysterious circumstances). Sammamish contains several historically significant sites including Springwater Road's original location along Puget Sound where pioneer John Goodloe landed his boat after being stranded near present day SAMMAMISH before moving inland about 8 miles east along Messner River for farming purposes starting about 1851; also located nearby are Goodloe's original house (now known as Silver Lake Drive), Marcus' sawmill which operated from 1898 until 1909 while Steel Mill Creek ran parallel behind it westward flowing into Clearwater River near present day SAMMAMISH town limits northeast of I-5 just north of SR 520 concurrent with SR 520 southbound lanes; additional notable sites include: radar tower #2 erected by US Departmentof Defense during WWII reconstruction efforts atop Spruce Hill overlookingSAMMAMISH & SPRINGWATER RIDGES southwest of downtown © US Army photo/USArmy photo courtesy RMN
