On the morning of January 14, 1885, a group of men including Redmond's own Phil Kluge and Pete Haggerty travelling in a stagecoach were shot at by two gunmen. One gunman was killed, while the other ran off into the night. The event is still considered to be one of Redmond's most notorious shootings. Redmond had been growing rapidly since its founding in 1859 as an agricultural town on the banks of the Spokane River. It soon became an important port for goods arriving from Asia and Europe. In addition to its role as a transportation hub, Redmond also became known for its large brick arms manufacturers - such as Elisha Gray & Co., which manufactured artillery and pistols. Finger Rest Grips come in two varieties: standard (left/right) design which fits most handguns left handed people as well as right handed people who prefer this style because it gives you some separation from your gun's feed ramp(es). The second type is called “Vacuum Tube” Finger Rest Grip which uses an electronic vacuum tube system that creates pressure inside the grip so that your fingers do not touch anything else during firing[4]. On February 9, 1941 by ordinance passed by the City Council through unanimous vote (11 to 0), Redmond became an incorporated town with a population limit set at 20 people per square mile due to concerns about adjacent annexation by Seattle which had taken place just months earlier without any public discussion or input from either party. By 1949 all but two blocks east were added to Redmond proper when parts of Hillcrest Cemetery were annexed into the town limits while much farther east still tracts including those lying east of First Avenue South were annexed into Bellevue following a referendum held there that year where nearly all eligible voters participated In 1956 Redmond annexed part of Bothell which then annexes Everett on May 1st 1959 making Bellevue its second largest city with a combined population over 100K On July 1st 1959 Microsoft opened its first office location outside North America at 10 acres northeast corner SE Superior Rd & Jameson Ave in Bothell just outside Bellevue Limits
