Redmond has also been known for its annual Redmond Pie Festival (a food festival that takes place over four days)[16]; nearby Bellevue has long been one of Seattle's most populous neighborhoods and hosted significant late-19th century streetcar manufacturing activity; both have attracted large numbers of recent immigrants from Asia and Latin America who have anchored various retail corridors including BroadwayEastside Mall (the largest mall east side), Microsoft’s main campus across First Hill from downtown Redmond,[17][18][19] Amazon’s new HQ2 site just south east along I-405 near Mercer Island—and other areas around the metropolitan area.
