This suggests that when used correctly, tasers pose little threat to innocent bystanders if used incorrectly although there is always potential for injury if not wielded carefully In another study conducted on criminal suspects undergoing interrogation by undercover police officers utilizing a Taser stun gun instead of forceps or handcuffs showed no difference between those groups[2]. However this study did not include any comparison group so it cannot be said conclusively whether or not using a Taser over other methods results in less harm overall It is worth noting though that both studies were small scale experiments with very limited data which makes it difficult to draw definitive conclusions about anything beyond these two examples Effectiveness - A study from Australia found that out of 535 people who received an electric shock from a Taser dart without being First Degree Assaulted/Killed participants only one person required hospitalisation[3]. Additionally this study looked at Tasers specifically rather than stun guns which could potentially confounding Results Furthermore another Australian study involving 1120 volts shocked victims found no documented cases where anyone sustained serious injury after beingShockured with an electric shockweapon outsideof combat mode)[4] . This further supports the idea that even when used improperly(generally speaking), tasers pose no real danger either way
PORT ANGELES, Wash. - A Taser use in Port Angeles, Wash., is the latest example of a firearm being used to detain an individual. On Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2018 officers with the King County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a person who had been pepper sprayed by another person. As they arrived on-scene, they observed a subject that was holding what appeared to be a gun. The officers approached and when the subject did not stop waving the gun about, one officer discharged his Taser at him. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and is now facing charges of menacing and carrying contraband around with intent to sell.
