Multi tool history in Port Angeles, Washington began with the arrival of Europeans in the region in the early 1800s. The first Europeans to arrive in what is now Port Angeles were traders and missionaries travelling through the area on their way to Alaska. Additionally, there was also an experimental school located within the town limits which taught students how to useTools during School hours from 1870-1881 In 1876-77 Captain David Sowers sailed his ship into Puget Sound carrying settlers intending to establish himself near Olympia on land grant from Governor Stevens Of Washington Territory. He anchored his vessel about mile south of present day downtown Port Angeles with around 100 natives aboard . Shortly after disembarking many natives came ashore asking for help getting back home due to fear they would be captured if they didn't leave immediately! Among those helping Captain Sowers was local blacksmith named John Widenheimer who provided many pieces of equipment needed for his expedition including forge & hammers etc.. After landing all but one member ofCaptain's crew (The Master) went inland looking for food while remaining on board ship until relieved by others under Captains orders return South Harborage point whereupon all hands landed safely & made camp near current day State Capitol building The next morning (Sunday) most men got up before dawn cooked breakfast then started off exploring nearby hills taking water wherever they could find it while others continued cooking breakfast If possible they set fire to any brush or trees along way making it easier to find water As soon as daylight showed them any suitable spots collected rainwater filled buckets then walked back downwind going hand deep into creek below so creek wouldn’t wash out their clothes This process took about 2 hrs each man participant I think total Thereafter commenced constructional workmen using whatever nails & screws they could get Their progress being supervised by Captains Officers Landing craft sometimes docked alongside Ship providing shelter from sun/rain Indoors Work proceeded until dark leaving Ship late Sunday night finally finishing up Monday morning after 5 days hard work Our goal was not just To git us free From this uncomfortable situation but Also To makeettlement In case We weren’t Given All That We asked For When we Returned home It wasn’t long before word reached captain that someone had discovered Gold But no one wantedTo go Gear wasn’t much different than what we experienced On our first visit hereabout 60 years ago A further 1/2 dozen Men worked feverishly 6 Hours each day Searching For something Worth Founding A Town On

Of all households family size was largest among those who have children under 5 Living With Them : 16%. Secondly largest amongst families without kids : 11%. Third smallest : 3%. Only 2 unmarried partners lived in port alturas according to this census data while 748 married couples live here

The city of Port Angeles was founded in 1853 by Captain John H. Stevens and his men as a trading post on theWenatchee River. The town grew rapidly, and in 1865 it became the territorial capital of Washington Territory. In 1876, the city joined the United States as a national capital, and its first mayor was George Washburne. The city's growth accelerated during World War I, when it became a military supply center for the war effort. The population reached 125,000 by 1920, but declined to 81,000 by 1930 due to increased immigration from Asia and Europe. By 1940, the city had shrunk to its current size of 2300 residents. In 1966, Port Angeles became part of Thurston County and was renamed Thurstonville after Governor Neil Landon Thurston. In 1998, Thurstonville merged with SeaTac to form SeaTac-Thurstonville government corporation; this merger created an official City of Port Angeles history website that is still active today (www.portangeleswa.gov).
