Port Angeles, Washington is a city located in Kitsap County, Washington on the Kitsap Peninsula. The population was 508 at the 2010 census. The original name of Port Angeles was Kalama. Spanish traders first landed in what is now Port Angeles in 1692 and named it San Juan de la Cruz after their patron saint. In 1847, Captain John Cushing led an expedition up the Sound to explore Puget Sound and its potential as a route for trade with California. He discovered the site of present-day Port Angeles when he returned from his journey. The first gun barrels were built here in 1851 by Drury and Company of Baltimore, Maryland for use by the Umatilla Indians during Indian Wars against white settlers. The local lumber company began marketing guns here in 1855 and soon became one of the largest suppliers of guns in America. After American Civil War ended, Union forces burned most of this town to prevent it from falling into Confederate hands; however, several stores still remain standing today including Goudy & Co., a grocery store that still sells firearms; and Browning Arms & Ammunition, which has been operating since 1865. In 1907 entrepreneur WADDY KELLY opened what is considered to be one of the first indoor shooting ranges in western United States at his property off 24th Street NW near Interstate 5 Exit 113 (now White Center Blvd.). Kellys rifle factory produced rifles under various brand names such as Colt 1911/38ACP handguns etc until 1984 when it closed down due to economic conditions within American gun manufacturers during the early 21st century Great Recession period across all industries globally particularly those related to manufacturing employment or economic sectors critical to sustaining human life or well-being—in light thereof we closed our doors effective September 1st 1984 because our business model could no longer sustain itself without government subsidy through Title I tax breaks provided by both state legislatures under duress from then-President George H W Bush seeking national reemployment insurance benefits for workers laid off during this time period not just those employed but also retirees regardless of whether they resided within commuting distance of some job bearing former employee’s home Address: 24th Street NW cornerNW NE side

In 1850, after being re-zoned from Village to Township under Northwest law, the Township renamed itself Port Angeles. In 1861 when Pope Alexander Stephens became Governor of Washington Territory he ordered all stores closed because shops were used to purchase Indian land that would become Everett Island later that year. This set off a series of skirmishes between white settlers and Native Americans which continue until 1865 whenPA was annexed intoKing County. During this time many homes were burned down or destroyed due to Indian raids and panic selling during this time period had increased significantly
