At that time, the area was sparsely populated and there were no means of providing public shooting ranges for the citizens. So, gun enthusiasts pooled their resources and formed local shooting clubs in an effort to provide a place where they could practice their firearms. In 1853, Pasco's first rifle range opened its doors and quickly became one of the most popular in the area. The club hosted monthly tournaments with prizes given out for best scores. By 1865, pistol target shootings had also become popular and were held on Saturdays at a nearby fairgrounds. During this time, rifles only accounted for about 20% of all firearm activity at these ranges. In 1907, Pasco's first pistol range was opened and soon became one of the most popular in Seattle metropolitan areas due to its great location close to downtown and shopping districts. Today, Pistol Range has remained a highly respected member of the community by hosting many annual events including Trap & Gun shoots as well as airgun/muzzleloader matches on various occasions throughout year!

From here, the Gunsmiths Association of Puget Sound was founded in 1907. In 1951, the Washington State Legislature passed a bill legalizing handguns in Washington state. This allowed for more people to have access to firearms and made it easier to buy pistols and rifles from dealers. The Gunsmiths Association of Puget Sound became an affiliate of the American Rifleman magazine in 1959.
Pasco, Washington is a city in the U.S. state of Washington and the county seat of King County. As of 2010, Pasco had a population of 119,392 and was the third-largest city in King County after Seattle and Tacoma. The area now known as Pasco was first settled by Native Americans in at least 12RC4,000 according to archaeological evidence. A mill built on Elliott Bay near present-day Pioneer Square began operating in 1865; it remained an important industry until it closed in 1922 due to competition from Boeing’s World War I plane factory located just south of downtown Seattle. In 1903, three men - George Wickersham ( thirty years old at the time), Hiram Smith ( twenty-two years old) and Charles Evans Hughes ( twenty-four years old) - founded Harborview Hospitality Company Ltd., one ofSeattle’s first commercial companies; its original building still stands on First Avenue North close to Interstate 5th Street. Puget Sound Navigation Company laid down track along Elliott Bay for its Everett Layover Terminal in 1916; this terminal served as an interchange for trains travelling between Tacoma and Olympia before being dismantled during the 1990s). In 1941, when World War II began, Pasco became home to two Naval Air Station(NAF) sites: NAS Whidbey Island located on Mud Island offshore from Downtown while NAS Kitsap Landing also operated out at Point Defiance Light House off Highway 605 southeast from Downtown becoming operational 1 May 1942 until its closure 4 October 1945 following Japan's surrender.). The airport reopened 9 November 1945 as Joint Base Lewis-McChordserving both NAF sites until 7 December 1946 when NAS Kitsap Landing reverted back under Navy jurisdiction again becoming USAAF/USMC Yokosuka Airfield serving Japanese forces during World War II).Following World War II many businesses closed or moved away becauseof low demand for military goods after the Korean Conflict ended but some such as Boeing continued operations such as manufacturing P-38 Lightning fighter planes hereunder license from McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Corporation & others later came into business like JBL Communications Systems Incorporated which manufactures audio/visual equipment hereunder license from Sony Corp.. Today there are few if any active businesses left however there are several small shops that continue to do business including breweries Dolphin's Cove Aleworks & Kettle Grill restaurant etc... One major development has been growth in recreational marijuana use which started heretofore unknown among most people outside Seattle but has quickly become more popular especially among young people who have found street access easier than getting caught up in prohibition laws..Due largely to ballot initiatives passed by voters throughout King County starting in 2009 many new jobs have opened up such as construction work for CenturyLink Field renovation project & Port Bothell Lighthouse retrofit job program...As mentioned earlier today Seahawks football game against the Oakland Raiders kicks off with approximately 50K people expected inside CenturyLink Field...Today Pasco is one of America’s fastest growing cities experiencing rapid population growth since 2000 despite ongoing economic challenges.... Many new residents have come moving into this rapidly gentrifying city seeking opportunities available hereabove poverty lines while others commuters leaving rural areas looking for more affordable housing options..The City Council currently has 3 bodies including Mayor Pro Temwayne Stenhouse Jr., Councilmember Debora Sackett & Planning Committee member Donovan McNeely..PNACOMPACTSIDE provides services including public health insurance coverage for eligible employees thru CHIP Plus program members receive free lunches at participating restaurants thru 2016)...Currently there are no plans underway by City Hall or PNACOMPACTSIDE regarding redevelopment or changing ordinances pertaining to Gentrification yet much discussion takes place about these topics periodically.......pascowashingtoncom

As one of the five cities within the Seattle metropolitan area, it has access to public transportation and other services that are not available to residents in other municipalities within the same metropolitan area such as Bellevue or Tacoma.
