In 1937, Remington Arms Company introduced what is considered by many as the most advanced version of a scoped riflemount ever created-the Remington Model 870 Scopes/Monopods! This product featured four telescopic legs which could be rotated about a vertical axis so that each leg could point at any desired information plate or target on your battlefield opponents' weapon! From this innovative design, Remington eventually licensed its patents related thereto back to Olin Corporation who continued developing this mounting technology into modern times culminating in today's favorite type of scoped riflemount - THE REMINGTON 870 SCOPE MOUNT!!!!

In 1935, another expansion of the Mount Baker Rifle Range occurred when it became clear that demand for shooting opportunities at this location was growing exceedingly fast. This additional range added an additional 15 acres to the current facility, making it one of the largest rifle ranges in North America.
Newcastle, Washington is a town in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 2,878 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Bellevue–Everett metropolitan area. Newcastle is located on the west side of Lake Sammamish and between Bellevue and Everett on Highway 99. Newcastle was founded in 1859 by Scotsmen James Aitken and John Watt as a small trading post known as "Netherby". The first store was built on the present site of Newcastle Elementary School in 1886. In 1892, Newcastle school district merged with neighboring Bellevue to form the Bellevue-Everett school district. In 1924, Newcastle became an independent municipality when it joined King County and formed its own government separate from Bellevue-Everett. The original building that now houses the Museum of History & Industry was built in 1930 as a library annex for The Alexander Graham Bell Institute (now Bell Laboratories). The Annex also served as headquarters for New Brighton Telephone Company until its sale to Pacific Northwest Telephone Company in 1957. This building has been used for other purposes including storage, office space and a single event space since then called "The Marketplace" which includes an arena that can seat up to 200 people and features 11 stalls configured like mini arenas with DJ booth/stage/sound system etc., plus two covered parking spaces outside for events taking place inside; this event space can be leased out or rented out weekly or monthly during non-peak hours for special events such as concerts or Art Basel USF&VA Open House Weekend!
