Sph changed its name again in 1997 to Imaging Technology LLC which remains today one of the largest optical equipment companies in North America with over $8 billion in sales annually.* In 2000, Imaging Technology LLC merged into Getty Images plc.* Getty Images is now part of Time Warner Entertainment Company.* During this time period*, imaging technology products were also used within digital photography* devices such as digital SLRs or PDAs*. Mukilteo is a town in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 9,392 at the 2010 census. It is the smallest of the five municipalities in King County and has only 1 square mile (0.4 km2) of land area. The town was founded in 1854 by a group of Mormon missionaries. The first post office opened in 1861 and was called "Mukilteo". The name Mukilteo comes from an Alaskan word meaning "old man" or "grandfather." In 1892, the town became part of what is now King County when it was organized as one of seven towns within that county. Mukilteo is located at (47.866722,-122.445694). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , all of it land. As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 8,048 people, 3,711 households, and 2,914 families residing in the town. The population density was 1,569.3 people per square mile (633.5/km²). There were 459 housing units at an average densityof 389.4 per square mile (152.2/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 97% White; 0% African American; 0% Native American; 0% Asian; 1% Pacific Islander; and 2% from two or more races

Mukilteo, Washington is a city located in Kitsap County, Washington on the Puget Sound. The population was 25,693 at the 2010 census. Mukilteo is part of the Seattle-Tacoma metropolitan area. Mukilteo is one of three cities in Kitsap County and one of two cities in King County. The other city is Bremerton. Mukilteo was founded by Swedish settlers in 1853 and named after nearby Mollefors, Sweden. The first store opened in 1854 and the first school in 1857. In 1865, a post office was established at Mukilteo and the town name was changed to its current form on December 10th, 1865. After World War II, when many people left for various reasons including jobs overseas or moving to new locations due to pollution from Boeing plants being built near Mukilteo, the population decreased rapidly until it reached its low point during the early 1970s when it had only 7 residents living there full time as compared to 20 residents back then. However since then things have started to slowly improve with more businesses opening up and more people moving into town which has resulted in an addition of 6 businesses that make up nearly half of all businesses within 2 blocks of Main Street today! In recent years there has been much discussion about what should be done with chunks away from downtown Mukilteo (see photo), as well as plans for development along First Avenue NE which would completely surround downtown while adding several thousand square feet of retail space onto an already large commercial district! There are also talks about setting up a park or trail system within easy walking distance of downtown where people can walk out into Puget Sound for exercise or just take a look around! It’s great that these types of discussions are happening but we surely need more action than words to help get things moving forward!!!
Mukilteo was founded in 1853 by Captain John W. Fitzpatrick as a small town on the banks of the Puget Sound. The first store and post office were built in 1854, and the town grew rapidly with its location at the mouth of the river. In 1861, Mukilteo became part of Washington Territory and until 1912 it was an unincorporated community within that territory. In 1912, Mukilteo became a city and has remained so ever since.
