Moses Lake is a small town in Washington state, United States. It was established in 1887 by the merger of two other towns, Moses and Maple Grove. The population was 2,902 at the 2010 census. The town's history can be traced back to 1887 when two other towns, Moses and Maple Grove merged to form one village. This village had a population of just over 100 people. However, within a few years, the community had grown larger and more needs were being met by the newly formed Village Council. In 1912, the Village Council voted to rename the community after George Washington because he had been an important figure in American History. After several years of discussion and study, it was decided that a new courthouse should be built in the town center as part of plans for growth. The construction of this building began in 1933 and it opened its doors to residents on December 1st, 1934. After many years of service as a courthouse and courtroom, it was decided that an annex would also be needed for storage capacity on Main Street so that more than one business could fit inside at once. The annex was completed in 1951 and became known as Moses Lake Annexe Courthouse II-1B. In 1948, Mosaic Records merged with Columbia Records Inc., creating one of America's largest record companies during its heyday before enduring declines during the late 20th century due series economic turbulence across much of metropolitan America following World War II followed by postwar austerity measures associated with newly formed political systems dominated by Southern Democrats (the "Red Sox").

In 1896, Josephine Baker became America's first African American woman to be elected as a U.S. senator from Illinois; she served until her death in 1984. A few months after her election victory, she traveled east for an appearance at Olympia Masonic Temple with then–president Grover Cleveland and First Lady Lucy Mercer Wright—the only black person then living in Denny City (now Everett). During this stopover at Olympia Masonic Temple, Baker met newlyweds James and Frances Marion who would later found their own synagogue there called Congregation Shearith Israel (later Shabbat Shalom). Moses Lake experienced its heyday during World War II when it became one of several military training centers used by the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) and Boeing Aircraft Company personnel for advanced bombing development work on behalf of Project Maven which ultimately led to Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings years later.At war's end however, many jobs were lost due to unemployment throughout Washington State as a result of wartime production shortages; Moses Lake has seen steady growth ever since its incorporation into Clark County via annexation in 1964 followed by numerous development projects such as retail land reclamation that continues today including several high-end apartments developments along riverfrontace waterfront property formerly occupied by longshoremen’s storage yards The community has also become known for its annual "Festival on the Water" which features arts & crafts demonstrations along with music and dancing performances popular among locals & tourists alike
Moses Lake was a small, unincorporated community in Washington County, Oregon, United States. It lay on the east side of Moses Lake Dam, just upstream from the present-day town of Moses Lake. The community had a post office from 1907 to 1951.
