A number of mills have been located along Mill Creek over time; including one built by General Mills between 1926 and 1930 that still stands today outside Centerville. The mill also produced flour for many local restaurants before it closed down in 1976, though some flour still remains on store shelves today brought back by customers who visited during that time period!
