Marysville is a small town in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 10,521 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue metropolitan area. The first gun case made in Marysville was created by George Aiken in 1892. He operated a blacksmith shop and produced rifles and pistols out of his home. Aiken's rifle cases were made from hardwood boards that were glued together with Weaver's thread and then covered with animal skin or leather to protect them from the elements. In 1907, Humboldt Brothers Manufacturing Company opened up shop in Marysville and started making soft gun cases out of enameled copper wire. Their cases could be bought for $2 each or 20 could be purchased for $10.00 per case. In 1916, Armour & Co., Incorporated opened up shop in Marysville and started manufacturing different types of firearms including revolvers and shotguns using diecast steel parts. Their cases can be bought for $3 each or 25 can be purchased for $15 per case

Marysville is a town in Yakima County, Washington, United States. The population was 3,902 at the 2010 census. The name "Mariesville" was given to the community by General Alexander McDowell in 1854. The first permanent residents of Marysville were farmers who arrived from eastern Washington in 1835. In 1847, George Catlin and his wife built the first post office in the community. By 1860, there were 50 families living in Marysville. In 1870, John Murrell opened a general store and cigarmaker in Marysville. By 1880, there were 100 businesses in Marysville with a population of 1,500 people. In 1907-1908, local developer Harry Fenton erected a high school which replaced an old log schoolhouse that had been destroyed by fire two years earlier. At its opening on November 15th 1907 it was one of only two high schools open for students in Yakima County; the other being Salmon Ponds High School (now Bullfrog High School). It remained active until 1988 when it closed due to financial problems caused by tough competition from nearby Whitworth High School and State College of Idaho Bachelor's degree programs offered at nearby Whitman College. The soft gun case history began with the development of plastic handguns in the early days of firearm design. A number of companies started producing pistol cases to protect their newly created firearms, and soon enough, a consistent standard was developed. The soft gun case featured two sections that divided the handgun into halves, with one section protected by a padded lining and the other section exposed to the elements. This allowed for easy storage and transport of pistols, as well as protection against dings and scratches during use.

Afterward, the town slowly lost its economic importance until it ceased to exist as an incorporated municipality in 1975. Today, Marysville is a ghost town that is only visited by residents who are interested in exploring its history or going on historical walks around its perimeter.

He built a log cabin on the current site of the town in 1851. In 1860, John and Nellie Elwell founded a small farming community near present-day Marysville. They had four children: John, Nellie, Addie and Everett. In 1865, they moved to what is now the city of Yakima and became its first white residents. In 1876, Rev. A. Leland Moody organized a Methodist church in Marysville and named it after his mother's birthplace – Mount Vernon – in Virginia. The first pastor of this church was Revd Ebenezer Eaton (1829-1901). In 1902, local ranchers started land speculation with an eye to developing irrigation systems for their crops around Yakima River Valley; these efforts led to the founding of Marysville Water District two years later. After World War II ended, demand for cotton increased as farmers shifted from rural production to large-scale commercial mono-crop operations; by 1957, the town had 731 residents employed in various agricultural activities that supported the continued growth of Yakima County during those years; however, many businesses closed down or were abandoned as technology advanced and new markets emerged for agricultural products throughout most of Western Washington states during that period (see changeover from agriculture to industry). The last major closure took place when Northwest Bell Telephone Company discontinued its service to Yakima County due to high phone rates associated with telecommunications development at that time; all telephone customers were transitioned over gradually over several months beginning on November 1st 1959 (the day following Douglas MacArthur's inauguration as US President), although some services did continue until May 6th 1960 due to administrative overflow resulting from switchover arrangements made prior thereto). This event is generally considered as one factor leading directly to declining economic activity within Yakima County during that decade which contributed significantly towards contributing factors underlying regional trends culminating with suburbanization within what had once been agricultural economies throughout much of Western Washington by 1990 (see end of century transition period)). However there are several other significant factors also involved including technological advances having occurred since then which have caused opposite trends such as more jobs being created within traditional sectors such as manufacturing while reducing dependency upon agriculture for sustenance); changes occurring globally impacting export markets for most goods consumed by westerners including Chinas imposition of tariffs on many Western farm commodities making them less accessible/cheapened competing against eastern producers) etc., etc., etc., so rather than focus exclusively on one particular aspect this article will try instead provide overall context/perspectives relevant both historically & presently affecting Marysville
