In 1883, Aube Lumber Company was founded by John Hargrave Aube with lumber from Douglas Fir trees cut down near Snoqualmie Falls; this company would later become one of America's leading lumber companies with its head office located in Seattle until its sale to Jardine Matheson Ltd.. The first settlers also soon began growing apples orchards nearby on land donated by Captain George Vancouver (1785-1848), founder of modern day Tacoma, WA. During World War II: On July 24th 1945 German bomber aircraft dropped 2 atomic bombs on Hiroshima killing over 60% of residents living therein including many children who were playing outside their homes when these bombs detonated; for days afterwards people lay dead all around Hiroshima including children playing inside their homes – more than 20 years after Hiroshima bomb attack! For those reasons alone MarysVILLE has been listed as being damaged or destroyed property under US cultural heritage law since 1945 due to its devastation caused by nuclear bombing!
