Lynnwood is located on the west bank of Puget Sound, about 25 miles north of Seattle and about 20 miles east of Bellevue. Lynnwood's rich history can be found throughout its streetscape - from older frame homes built starting around 1920 to newer brick-and-metal buildings erected over recent years along I-5A corridor just south of downtown - all evidence that this once small but vibrant community has fought hard for existence over time.
