Longview is a small town in the state of Washington, United States. The population was 1,165 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Wenatchee–Grays Harbor metropolitan area. The first permanent settler in Longview was George Purdy, who arrived in 1847. He built a log cabin on the south side of present day Wishram Street. By 1853, Purdy had erected a wood frame structure west of his original cabin and named it "Purdy's Store". In 1859, John A. Durant moved to Longview from Spokane and started what would become one of Longview's most successful businesses - grocery store and post office. Durant also donated land for school District No. 2 which was organized in 1865. In 1880, lumber magnate James Wickersham bought 5 acres (20 hectares) of land east of town from Gifford Cramer for $5 per acre ($40 per hectare). Wickersham began construction on what would become known as "Wickershams Landing", eventually adding two more buildings to house his employees; these structures remain today as part of Pioneer Hall Museum & Archives'. In 1886, Wickersham sold his holdings to local rancher Dolphus Ewing for $10 per acre ($160 per hectare). Ewing began construction on what would become known as "Ewing's Landing" which included a stockade and later served as the town hall until 1951 when it was replaced by Pioneer Hall Museum & Archives'. Since its establishment, Longview has been home to many notable people including: Seattle Mayor Norm Stamper; Everett native Everett Dirksen;WA State Senator John Sommersworth; physicist Neil Armstrong; Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen

These systems used Philipsburg touch screens to communicate with central serversand computers to allow owners to enter codes or passwords required to operate their firearms safely. Many major manufacturers began producing pistol models without keys beginning in 1984 with Glock AG & Co., Beretta USA LLC & FN Herstal SA’s production model H&K P7 9mm Pistol without receiver serial number (RNS). Keyless pistols continued appearing throughout much of the 1990s but saw limited success until 2000 when Smith&Wesson Corporation introduced its Mastercard handgun using an electromagnetic card reader/writer integrated into its frame lineswap mechanism

Longview is a town in King County, Washington, United States. It is the seat of King County. The population was 25,723 at the 2010 census. Longview has been inhabited by the Yakama Nation since 1851. The first white person to arrive in what is now Longview was Captain George Vancouver on July 16, 1792 when he and his vessel Discovery went ashore on Puget Sound to scout for new land grants. He named his landing "Discovery" after himself and discovered what would become present-day Longview while exploring Puget Sound region. By 1800, a post office had been established at present-day Longview and local citizens were trading goods with friendly tribes along the water's edge. On November 10 of that year, John Jacob Astor arrived in Seattle with over 100 followers and set up shop as an entrepreneur in downtown Seattle following a gold rush era of exploration throughout North America starting with California's Gold Rush days in 1848. By 1851, two years after Captain Vancouver's arrival, some 300 residents lived near Discovery Landing on Elliott Bay due to its convenient location between Puget Sound and Lake Union; this area became known as Pioneer Square today. A year later on January 24th.,1852 pioneers Asahel Denny and James Weaver founded the town of Longview within 2 miles (3 km) of Discovery Landing from their farmstead located about 4 miles (6 km) northeast of modern day Longview proper on Elliott Bay just south of Green Island Creek/Lake Union Bridge which opened September 1st.,1852 also called Pioneer Square today; it is one half mile long by one half mile wide (.8 km by .4 km). In those early days there were only 3 houses within the current Town limits or Pioneer Square today including pioneer George Stephens' house built around 1840s still standing but burned down circa 1960 during eruption activity at nearby Mount St Helens National Volcanic Field.). The first post office was open here December 15th.,1852 under name 'Washington'. The first settlers were mostly farmers who grew crops such as wheat, barley, potatoes etc.; however other businesses soon followed such as sawmills (later converted into flour mills), gristmills (later converted into oil mills), blacksmith shops etc.. In 1860s an important transportation artery connecting Tacoma via ferry to Olympia opened up thanks to construction of Columbia River Crossing Highway linking Tacoma through Snohomish County with Seattle city Limits - making it easier for goods transported eastward from Tacoma across Puget Sound from Everett through Issaquah through Lynnwood then Spokane then Pullman then Helena all the way down to Olympia! This highway corridor helped develop areas now known as Shoreline Village & Diamond City neighborhoods adjacent to Interstate 5 & State Route 47
Longview was one of the most important settlements in Washington Territory. It was located on the Clearwater River and became a major trade center for the area. The town was also home to a number of pioneer families who helped create Washington Territory.
