In 1981 Vulcan Corporation sold their assets back to J&L Sawmill COMPANY LLC which became ownership reverted back to Pierce Paper Products Co., successor company name(s) thru 2007 when production stopped at KPDP [4][5], owneried by Clearwater Paper Products plc since then! In 1987 Pierce Paper Products CO., successor company name(s) thru 2007 when production stopped at KPDP [4][5], owneried by Clearwater Paper Products plc since then!, donated land including 8 acres adjacent to current site for use as a park/greenway/employment development – now called "Lake Union Park" – incorporating funds raised from online auctioning off office space inside old mill buildings adjacent thereto during period ending 3rd Quarter 2008 - resulting in purchase price being $210K inclusive mineral rights plus future economic development potential beyond park; donation agreement also includes commitment not later than Dec 30th 2009 any property sales or leases occurring subsequent thereto shall be recorded against gift tax liability thereby extinguishing such gift tax obligation!
