It stated that anyone on British soil could bring whatever type of weapon he or she wanted into the United Kingdom without having first obtained a license from the local authorities. The king also announced that any person who possessed a weapon other than a musket or pistols must turn it in at once to one of his marshals or police officers. During World War I, many people in Everett participated in military service by serving as soldiers or firefighters. Some residents even volunteered their time to help out with munitions production at an ammunition plant located in nearby Newcastle upon Tyne. Many Everett citizens were also members of local chapters of patriotic organizations such as America First Foundation and Knights Templar Society (later renamed American Legion). Many businesses throughout Everett supported military efforts during World War I by selling war supplies such as uniforms and gasoline cans. After World War I ended, some people decided they did not want their weapons registered with government agencies anymore because they felt there was too much bureaucracy involved in these activities. Some dealers began selling weapons unregistered but under different names such as "Gunsmiths Armory" or "Gunslinger Trading Company." These dealers were able to sell Firearms Registration cards which allowed customers to purchase firearms without having their registration information displayed prominently on their merchandise pages! In 1872, they started a cattle drive that brought cows to Puget Sound from central Canada. The drive became known as the "Cattle Drive of America". In 1916, Everett's post office was established with mail service coming from Bothell, Washington until 1951 when Everett had its own postmaster. In 1925, Everett Elementary School opened and remains the only school in the town today. In 1932, the state legislature passed Representative Bill Sennett's bill establishing King County which included Everett as one of its boundaries. In 1941-1942 during World War II, local farmers produced food for military troops stationed in North America; this contributed to growth of commercial agriculture in Everett since then and helped create jobs for many locals including many recent immigrants from Asia and Europe who came to work on family farms or develop new businesses after returning home. After World War II ended, large numbers of veterans returned home and there was little demand for agricultural production so farm families lost their jobs and unable to pay off interest payments on their mortgages which led to foreclosure within few years most leaving town altogether towards Tacoma or Snohomish County where they could find more opportunity for employment outside their homes without having to leave their community completely behind them once again
