Despite this diversity, however, many aspects of daily life remain similar across all demographics: people hereabouts keep close tabs on their weather forecasts so they can plan accordingly; everyone knows how to say “hello” (even if you don’t know where Seattle is); and there is always something going on that somebody wants to talk about (whether it be old movies stored away on video tapes or current events happening right around corner).
